One Step Back

I guess not only have I fallen into a lull, but I've fallen back somewhat into my old ways. I went shopping yesterday and took some of the money I was saving out of the account. I think the spending is because I've fallen into a bit of a depression. My husband and I had our hearts set on a particular house, but because the house had been on the market for so long, the bank decided to take the house and just put it up for auction instead of waiting just a couple of weeks for me to get my paperwork together and place the bid. Seriously, they had a GUARANTEED buyer, but no, that wasn't good enough for the bank. So now it's a lose-lose situation. The bank loses a guaranteed buyer and we lose a house. That's what happens when you get greedy I guess.
