Summer of Rage?

Well I've been keeping up on my new year's resolution to stock my pantry using coupons- which is an excellent habit to get into sooner rather than later because it seems that things are going to go from bad to worse.
I was reading my February edition of Bob Chapman's "International Forecaster" and Mr. Chapman discusses the civil unrest we've all seen recently in the middle east. That civil unrest was caused by food shortages and starvation. Could that possibly have a domino effect over here? I'm scared that we could have- so it's a good idea that if you haven't started stockpiling food now using coupons, you should really start!
My own personal prediction is that all of this will come to a head in the summer. I'm not quite sure why the summer, but my gut just tells me it might happen then. So please, everyone- while you have time- prepare yourselves. And even if this doom and gloom never really comes true, isn't it better to be prepared for any situation rather than to not be prepared at all for anything??
