My first $10

A few days ago I made my first $10. How did I do it? The old fashioned way, by saving up my change. Yeah, I know, exciting huh? But that's how it goes. Don't rely too heavily on the online stuff. Just save your change. Now I'm not saying totally forget about signing up for adsense, cashcrate, or zlio, what I'm saying is think of the internet as a bonus money making opportunity. There IS a lot of money that can be made out there, but keep it all in perspective. Here's another tip, money isn't made in a vacuum. What I mean is, yes, I made my first $10, but I also have bills to pay and a life. In fact, right after I deposited my first $10 into the bank, I just checked my mail and my husband had received a bill from the dentist for $86 that his insurance didn't cover. Needless to say I was upset. I thought, "why even bother?!" I went into my bedroom and really chewed it over. Yes, this wasn't the most auspicious time to receive a bill (expected or otherwise), but when is it ever? Nobody ever receives a bill and says "whoopee!". So I got over it and just chalked it up to being a test of my will. I haven't given up yet, in fact it's only strengthened my resolve. I CAN do it! I WILL do it! I've already made $10, I KNOW I can at least make $10 more....
