God has no borders
Wow! It's been quite a while since I last posted!! Well, I have been very busy...it seems like every weekend there is some sort of party to go to or whatever and it's gotten so crazy that we weren't able to take our normal summer vacation! Anyways, I wanted to post because I realize that GOD HAS NO BORDERS. Yep, that's right God's word is not tied to a specific country, region, or even race. How do I know that? Because a couple of years ago I got saved by a church in SINGAPORE!! And I'm a white lady from right here who has never been outside of the North East, let alone North America! I find it kind of funny though that it would be just like me to get saved in such a random way. How did I do it? I had been checking out elegantwoman.org and the author suggested as part of self-improvement to subscribe to a daily devotional such as the one from New Creation Church that the author had subscribed to. Little did I know that the church was in Singapore...because well, I just don't think about these types of things. So I had subscribed and for about a month had been reading the devotionals daily (I still do) and felt something change in me. I felt better, I did better, I was different...I WAS SAVED! Whoo!!! And then of course did I do a little more reading about the pastor and the church that I got saved from and realized that OMG IT'S IN SINGAPORE!! God definitely has a sense of humour doesn't He? But that's the point, it's to let us know that God doesn't have boundaries- to let us know despite where we live or what race we may be, we are all equal in the body of Christ. Jesus loves ALL OF US and he doesn't really care if you just happen to be a chubby white lady who likes getting daily devotionals from an Asian church. Good news is good news!
