When is the Rapture?
This is why I believe the firstfruits Rapture of the
Church will take place between January 21-24, 2014....
For the last 13 years, the Lord has been giving me pieces to a puzzle that lead to the date of the firstfruits rapture. It is not important that the Bride of Christ know the time of the Rapture and this is not why I have put this puzzle together as the Lord gives me the pieces. What is important is that those left behind have this information to share with others, so that they can show how these events were planned by God to take place on a specific date and more people can be brought into the Kingdom of God during the Great Tribulation period. A great deception is about to take place that could fool even the elect, and the Lord wants you to have this information so that you can know for certain that what took place was the rapture and not an alien invasion. This website is for those who are left behind.
The
firstfruits rapture of the Bride of Christ was to have taken place on
January 2, 2014, the true 7th day of Hanukkah on God's calendar and the
"Gentile Feast of Trumpets". Just as the Jews blow the trumpets for 2
days at the start of their New Year and the last trumpet is blown on the
2nd day of their New Year, so January 1/2, 2014, was the "Gentile Feast
of Trumpets" for the predominantly Gentile Bride of Christ. The
midnight cry that the Bridegroom is coming in Matthew 25 was the
midnight hour that most people around the world waited up for to usher
in the New Year. The wise virgins were to have been taken and the
foolish ones left behind, who had run out of oil before the 8th day of
Hanukkah. The New Moon started on January 1, 2014, making January 2,
2014, the first day of Tivet on God's calendar. Everything I will write
below will point to the true 7th day of Hanukkah on January 2, 2014, as
the time for the firstfruits rapture to have taken place and the Bride
to be crowned as Queen, ruling and reigning with King Jesus.
However,
before I give you all of the pieces of the puzzle that point to this
date, I will first explain to you why the Rapture did not take place on
January 2, 2014, and also explain when I believe it will happen
according to what the Lord revealed to me on January 7, 2014. The puzzle
has now ended two times, but the Lord has delayed His judgment for as
long as possible in order that more people would be brought into the
Kingdom. He is slow to anger and abounding in love. He does not want
anyone to perish, but all to come to repentance. His heart is for all
people, tribes, tongues and languages. He loves His Gentile Bride, as
well as His Jewish Bride! The Lord is using the Jewish and Gentile
calendar to reveal His plan and love for all cultures and people.
The
puzzle ended on May 2, 2013, on the true 7th day of Unleavened Bread.
This was 1260 days before the Day of Atonement in 2016 and 1335 days
before the start of Hanukkah in 2016. This was 40 days after the
abomination was set up. This was the appointed time for the firstfruits
Rapture to take place. But the Lord told us He would shorten these days
of tribulation in order that some flesh might be saved.
The
puzzle then ended again on January 2, 2014, the true 7th day of
Hanukkah on God's calendar. This was the first day of Tivet, when Esther
was crowned as Queen in place of Vashti, who had rejected the King on
the 7th day of a Feast. This was the last day for firstfruits to be
offered to the Lord. It was the very end of the 4th year when the tree
was to be cut down. This was the day that was to start the "3 days of
darkness", which are the 3 years of darkness coming on the earth, the
final 3 years of Daniel's 70th week. It was the "Gentile Feast of
Trumpets", the midnight cry that the Bridegroom is coming. It was the
end of the puzzle.
But the
Rapture did not take place. God always has a reason and has a perfect
plan and we can always find the answers in His Word. He led me back to
Daniel and Revelation and showed me these verses:
Daniel 10: In
the third year of Cyrus king of Persia, a revelation was given to
Daniel (who was called Belteshazzar). Its message was true and it concerned a great war. The understanding of the message came to him in a vision.
At that time I, Daniel, mourned for three weeks. I ate no choice food; no meat or wine touched my lips; and I used no lotions at all until the three weeks were over.On the twenty-fourth day of the first month, as I was standing on the bank of the great river, the Tigris, I looked up and there before me was a man dressed in linen, with a belt of fine gold from Uphaz around his waist. His body was like topaz, his face like lightning, his eyes like flaming torches, his arms and legs like the gleam of burnished bronze, and his voice like the sound of a multitude.
I, Daniel, was the only one who saw the vision; those who were with me did not see it, but such terror overwhelmed them that they fled and hid themselves. So I was left alone, gazing at this great vision; I had no strength left, my face turned deathly pale and I was helpless. Then I heard him speaking, and as I listened to him, I fell into a deep sleep, my face to the ground.
A hand touched me and set me trembling on my hands and knees. He said, “Daniel, you who are highly esteemed, consider carefully the words I am about to speak to you, and stand up, for I have now been sent to you.” And when he said this to me, I stood up trembling.
Then he continued, “Do not be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them. But the prince of the Persian kingdom resisted me twenty-one days. Then Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, because I was detained there with the king of Persia. Now I have come to explain to you what will happen to your people in the future, for the vision concerns a time yet to come.”
Daniel 12: “At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your people—everyone whose name is found written in the book—will be delivered. Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt. Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever. But you, Daniel, roll up and seal the words of the scroll until the time of the end. Many will go here and there to increase knowledge.”
Revelation 12: Then war broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven. The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.
We had the sign of Comet Ison in the Draco constellation from December 26, 2013, to January 2, 2014, the exact dates of Hanukkah on God's calendar. This was the picture of Revelation 12, where the tail (Ison's tail) of the Dragon (Draco) hurls stars (meteors) to the earth. The Bride is taken to the place prepared for her by God. It was on the 3rd day of the first month that Daniel began his 3 weeks of fasting and mourning. January 3, 2014, the third day of the first month, was to have started the time of mourning for those who were left behind. However, there has been a 21-day delay. Michael is seen rising up to fight the Prince of Persia during this 21-day delay. He is again seen in Daniel 12 at the time of the start of the Great Tribulation and resurrection of the dead and firstfruits Rapture of the Church. He is again seen in Revelation 12, fighting the dragon. There is a 21-day delay. Why? If the puzzle ended on January 1/2, 2014, why is God still delaying His coming?
It all goes back to the 7th day of Tabernacles! The Lord is using the Jewish and Gentile calendars because He is all-powerful and He wrote the story. He can use both calendars to reveal Himself to the Gentiles and the Jews. January 21/22, 2014, is the 7th day of the "Gentile Feast of Tabernacles". The 7th day of Tabernacles for the Jews is on the 21st day of their New Year. The 7th day of Tabernacles for the Gentiles is also on the 21st day of their New Year. If you study the puzzle pieces below, you will understand why the 7th day of Tabernacles is the key to this puzzle. It is the one day of the year when the Jewish people expected their Messiah to come. It is the day when Jesus was rejected and Mr. Obama accepted four times over the last 4 1/2 years - twice on the Jewish 7th day of Tabernacles on God's calendar when Mr. Obama was chosen, and twice on the 7th day of the "Gentile Feast of Tabernacles", when Mr. Obama was "crowned" on the 21st day of the New Year on the Gentile calendar.
The Lord did
not appear to Daniel until the 24th day of the first month. I believe
that sometime between January 21-24, 2014, we can expect the 21-day
delay to finish and the firstfruits Rapture of the Bride of Christ to
take place. If you are left-behind and reading this, please study the
pieces of the puzzle below to see how the Bible pointed directly to this
time as the firstfruits Rapture to take place. It is my hope and prayer
that what I have written below will be used by God to reveal Himself to
you and that you will take the information below and share with others
how that the Bible pointed to these dates as the firstfruits Rapture and
that this was not an alien invasion or intervention. The next 3 years
will be very difficult for those believers who are left behind, but stay
strong in the faith and allow the Lord to use you to reach the lost.
His heart is for all people. This is why He waited until the 7th day of
the Gentile Feast of Tabernacles to come for His Gentile Bride.
Revelation 19: Then I heard WHAT SOUNDED LIKE A GREAT MULTITUDE, like the roar of rushing waters and like loud peals of thunder, shouting:
“Hallelujah!
For our Lord God Almighty reigns.
Let us rejoice and be glad
and give him glory!
For the wedding of the Lamb has come,
and his bride has made herself ready.
Fine linen, bright and clean,
was given her to wear.”
For our Lord God Almighty reigns.
Let us rejoice and be glad
and give him glory!
For the wedding of the Lamb has come,
and his bride has made herself ready.
Fine linen, bright and clean,
was given her to wear.”
(Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of God’s holy people.)
Then
the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to
the wedding supper of the Lamb!” And he added, “These are the true
words of God.”
Daniel 10: On the twenty-fourth day of the first month, as I was standing on the bank of the great river, the Tigris, I looked up and there before me was a man dressed in linen, with a belt of fine gold from Uphaz around his waist. His
body was like topaz, his face like lightning, his eyes like flaming
torches, his arms and legs like the gleam of burnished bronze, AND HIS VOICE LIKE THE SOUND OF A MULTITUDE.
The 7th day of Tabernacles & the 7th day of Hanukkah
The 7th
day of Tabernacles and the 7th day of Hanukkah are the keys to the
puzzle. Let's first look at the importance of the 7th day of
Tabernacles, then look at the Jewish calendar being a month off, the
shortening of the days of Tribulation, the 3 days/years of darkness, the
abomination that causes desolation, and then (and most importantly)
take a look at this amazing 7th day of Hanukkah! It was on the 7th day of Tabernacles that the Jewish people would look for their Messiah to come. On this day, they would wave palm branches and say, “Hosanna!” which means “Save us now!” The 7th day of Tabernacles even came to be called "Great Hosanna Day." They would read Psalm 118, which says, “Blessed is He who comes in the Name of the Lord!”
When Jesus rode into Jerusalem and the people waved palm branches and said, “Blessed is He who comes in the Name of the Lord”, they were reenacting the 7th day of Tabernacles and showing that they recognized Jesus as the Messiah. Matthew 21:9 – “The crowds that went ahead of him and those that followed shouted, ‘Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest heaven!’’
Just after the Triumphal Entry, Jesus told the people that they would not see Him again until they said, “Blessed is He who comes in the Name of the Lord!” He was pointing them to the 7th day of Tabernacles (which has a second fulfillment in the 7th day of Hanukkah) as the time of His return. Matthew 23:39 – “For I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, 'Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.'" The only time of the year when the Jewish people say this is on the 7th day of the Feast of Tabernacles. It is the most festive and joyous day of any Feast that the Jews celebrate.
John 7:37, 38: “On the last and greatest day of the festival (of Tabernacles), Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, ‘Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.’”
On the 7th day of Tabernacles, Jesus told the people to come to Him. He was telling them that He was their Messiah, the One that they were looking for as they enacted all of these events that were pointing to Him on that day. He is the fulfillment of the 7th day of Tabernacles.
The final 7 years have begun…
The final 7 years began on the 7th day of Tabernacles in 2009. On October 9, 2009, Mr. Obama was chosen to be the recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize. He was chosen on the 7th day of the Feast of Tabernacles. Jesus is the true Prince of Peace and will usher in the New Millennium of peace on the earth. By choosing Mr. Obama to be the Nobel Peace Prize recipient right on the 7th day of the Feast of Tabernacles, it represents the world choosing the Antichrist over the true Messiah Jesus Christ to be their “prince of peace.” It was yet another confirmation, or strengthening, of the “covenant” that the world has made with Obama, asking and hoping that he can and will usher in a New Age of peace on the earth. The world will be sadly disappointed as he brings the opposite of what they are expecting and hoping for. The world has made a “covenant with death” (see Isaiah 28:18). Daniel 9:27 tells us that the final 7 years will begin with the strengthening of a covenant with many.
Barak’s name means “blessed”. If we substitute the word blessed in this passage, and instead put the name Barak, it would read like this: “Barak is he who comes in the name of the Lord.” He is claiming to come in the name of the Lord, trying to imitate the Messiah, the prince of peace. The Jewish people, America, and the world has readily welcomed and accepted this false messiah, this false peacemaker, and they did it right on the 7th day of Tabernacles. His covenant, or pledge, of peace was strengthened with the world on this day.
Not only was Mr. Obama chosen to receive the Nobel Peace Prize right on the 7th day of Tabernacles, but he was given the award just a few hours before the start of the 24th of Kislev! Those are the 2 dates mentioned in Haggai 2 regarding the Lord shaking the heavens and the earth and the desired of all nations coming to Him. Those 2 dates are incredibly important on God's calendar. What are the odds that Obama just so happened to be chosen as the world's most notable man of "peace" on the 7th day of Tabernacles and then given the award right before Hanukkah eve, the 24th day of Kislev?
In his speech when Obama accepted the Nobel Peace Prize, he said, "I am AT THE BEGINNING and not the end of my labors on the world stage. Compared to some of the GIANTS of history who have received this prize, KING, Marshall, Mendella, my accomplishments are slight." He was at the beginning of this 7-year period (2009-2016), representing the GIANTS of history, and KING of the world.
Satan knows how important these 2 dates are. He is trying to be God, the "prince of peace". Mr. Obama was announced the winner of the "Peace Prize" on the 7th day of Tabernacles and accepted the award just a few hours before the start of the 24th of Kislev, Hanukkah Eve, the 2 dates mentioned in Haggai 2.
The night before Mr. Obama received this award, a strange spiral appeared in the sky above Norway, which is still an unexplained mystery as to what it was. Perhaps it was a sign from God to us that the event that would take place the following day was a really big deal and fulfillment of prophecies made thousands of years ago.
Obama is chosen AGAIN on the 7th day of Tabernacles…
The second fulfillment of the 7th day of Tabernacles took place on November 6/7, 2012, when
Obama was once again elected to be the US President. The Lord gave
America another chance to choose righteousness over unrighteousness, and
they made the wrong choice. There was a
candidate that at least appeared to have high morals and values and was
the obvious choice for the nation if they wanted to accept the way of
character and high morals. Then there was Mr. Obama, a man who has
clearly demonstrated low moral character and defiance toward God and His ways. Once again, the Lord was rejected and Mr. Obama accepted. The Jewish people celebrate the 7th day of Tabernacles on the 21st day of their New Year. Mr. Obama was sworn into office on January 21, 2013, which was the 21st day of the Gentile New Year. This also, in a way, symbolizes the “crowning” of our “king”, the acceptance of the false messiah and rejection of the true Messiah on the 7th day of Tabernacles.
Jewish calendar one month off of God's calendar
The Jewish people celebrated the 7th day of Tabernacles on October 7, 2012. However, on God’s calendar, the correct date for the 7th day of Tabernacles was November 6/7, 2012.
Daniel 7:25 says – “He will speak against the Most High God, oppress
the holy people of the Most High, and plan to change the appointed times
and laws. The holy people will be handed over to him for a time, times,
and half of a time.” The enemy has attempted to hide from us the true 7th day of Tabernacles in 2012 and 2013, so that we would not see the obvious. The true 7th day of Tabernacles in 2012 was November 6/7, the very day that Mr. Obama was reelected as President of the US. In the Spring of 2012, the Jewish people began their Biblical year a month early. Every year, the Lord would expect the Hebrew people to wait until the barley was ripened enough to start their Biblical year, so that they could bring the firstfruits of the barley harvest to the Lord on the Feast of Firstfruits during the first month of the Biblical year. If the barley was not yet ripe, they were to wait one more month, adding a 13th month to their year. However, the Jewish people do not follow this today and have a preset calendar that does not depend upon when the barley becomes ripe throughout the land.
God has His own calendar, and His calendar in the Spring of 2012 started a month later than when the Hebrew calendar started. The barley was not ripe in the land of Israel in late March 2012, so the correct start of this year on God's calendar was late April. The Month of the Aviv
The biblical year begins when the first new moon after the barley in the
land of Israel reaches the state in its development that the Bible calls Aviv. Only by checking the state of the barley crop can we fulfill the Biblical
commandment to "Keep the Month of the Aviv"(Deut 16:1). Only by fixing
the calendar in harmony with the barley crop can we fulfill the
commandment to celebrate the Hag Ha-Matzot (Feast of Unleavened
Bread) "at the time of the month of the Aviv, because in the month of the
Aviv you went out of Egypt." (Exodus 34:18)
The "19 year cycle" has been adopted by the majority of the Jewish people
instead of fixing the first month according to the barley crop. This cycle was
invented at a time when reliable reports of the barley crop in the land of
Israel were difficult to obtain. It added the occasionally necessary 13th
month (7 times every 19 years), which keeps Aviv in the spring of the year
in a logical, yet Biblically unauthorized pattern. The Rabbinites recognize
that the state of the barley crop determines the date of Passover (Sanhedrin
11a). Yet, since our return to the land, observation of the barley crop has
proven that the rabbinic cycle is often in error, and obviously obsolete.
Several times over the past decade, several Israelites have investigated the
state of the barley crop at the time that the modern Jewish calendar
declared the month of Aviv (Nisan), but discovered that the barley was not
Aviv.
It is a common occurrence for Rabbinic, Messianic, and even Karaitic Jews
to celebrate the Biblical Holy Days one month too early!
The Biblical calendar is lunar based that encourages the keeper to constantly look up and watch for the first slither of the new moon that marks the start of the new month. This sighting of the new moon cannot be exactly predetermined, neither the time of ripening of barley which determines the biblical New Year. So this calendar only accurately presents itself as time passes. To try and give and estimate when the biblical feasts will occur we have simulated the visibility of the new moon. But only time will tell the exact dates of these feast.
The barley was not Aviv (ripe) barley in Israel before the new moon on 24 March 2012, which means that an additional month (Adar II) should have been added to the year and the new year should have started with the sight of the new moon from Jerusalem in April 2012.
My notes: I copied the above article from the internet on November 4, 2012. The article is no longer on the internet, or at least I cannot find it. The Karaitic Jews claim to have found ONE barley field in the entire nation of Israel that had barley that was ripened the day before Aviv 1 in 2012 and therefore they determined that the calendar that the Jews were following was correct. However, ALL of the other fields of barley throughout the entire nation of Israel, did not have ripened barley. So, is the Karaitic standard correct - that if even one barley field has ripened barley before Aviv 1, then this means the Jewish calendar can begin? Or should the barley throughout the land of Israel already have reached its ripened form in order that the entire nation would be able to bring firstfruits during the month of Avi? This is the question.
It is my opinion that the Jewish calendar was off by a month since the beginning of the Spring of 2012, which means that it is still off by a month in 2013. Other than the issue of the barley ripening, there are THREE major reasons that I believe the Jewish calendar was off by a month from God's calendar starting in the Spring of 2012.
The first is that the Lord put a MAJOR sign in the heavens for us on October 16, 2012, that of the woman going into labor in Virgo, with 12 stars on her head and the sun in her birth canal, with Saturn right next to the sun representing the Dragon waiting to devour the baby when it was born, and the moon directly under the feet of Virgo. This was a perfect description of what we see in Revelation 12:1 - "A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head." The Lord was showing us the correct timing of the Feast of Trumpets in 2012. Why would the Lord put such an important sign in the heavens on the first day of the second month counting from the Jewish New Year? I don't believe He did. I believe the Lord put this HUGE sign for us on October 16, 2012, to mark the first day of the TRUE Feast of Trumpets on God's calendar.
The second reason I believe that the Jewish calendar was off by a month in 2012 and 2013 is because if October 16/17, 2012, was the correct start of the Feast of Trumpets on God's calendar, then November 6, 2012, (election day in America), would have been the correct day for the 7th day of Tabernacles. This was yet ANOTHER 7th day of Tabernacles that Mr. Obama was chosen on, and that Jesus and righteousness, were rejected. This also happened on October 9, 2009, on the 7th day of Tabernacles, when Obama was chosen as the Nobel Peace Prize winner and the final 7 years began. The 7th day of Tabernacles is the one day of the year when the Jewish people look for their Messiah to come; they wave palm branches and cry, "Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!" Barak means blessed. Israel, America, and the world, has chosen their peacemaker on the 7th day of Tabernacles (twice) and Jesus, the true Prince of Peace, has been rejected.
The third reason that I believe the Jewish calendar is off by a month in 2012 and 2013 is because of the lunar eclipses in 2013. Most of you reading this have probably heard by now that on the first day of Passover and on the first day of Tabernacles in 2014 and 2015 there is a lunar eclipse taking place. But most of you are probably not aware that if the Jewish calendar was correct in 2013 and was moved back a month to where its should be, that there would also be a lunar eclipse on the first day of Passover and the first day of Tabernacles in 2013!!! This means that there are not just 2 years straight where this unbelievable occurrence takes place, but for THREE YEARS in a row, there is a lunar eclipse happening right on the first day of Passover and the first day of Tabernacles in 2013, 2014, and 2015. If this does not convince you that the calendar is a month off, then nothing will. It is absolute, irrefutable evidence that the Jewish calendar is a month ahead of God’s calendar in 2013. And by moving the calendar back a month, this does not affect the other Passover and Tabernacles eclipses because the Jewish calendar has a 13th month added in 2014. This should have been added back in 2012 and this coming year in 2014, there should only be 12 months instead of 13.
Shortening of the days
The Lord told us in Revelation 10:6 and Matthew 25 that the Bridegroom would be delayed.
Revelation 10:6 - “And he swore by him who lives for ever and ever, who
created the heavens and all that is in them, the earth and all that is
in it, and the sea and all that is in it, and said, "There will be no more delay!” Matthew 25:5 – “As the bridegroom was delayed, they all became drowsy and slept.” We know that Jesus told us that if He did not shorten the days that no flesh would survive. Matthew 24:22 – “And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.” So, how does He “shorten the days” of Tribulation mentioned throughout Daniel and Revelation?
Daniel points us to a 7-year period before Christ returns that begins with a "strengthening of a covenant or pledge". This is known as the "70th week of Daniel". There are then 4 numbers given to us by Daniel that we are to count from. Here are the 4 numbers: 1260, 1290, 1335, and "2200 evenings and mornings", or 1100 days. I realize that our modern-day English translation says "2300 evenings and mornings"; however, Jerome, the early church father who translated the Latin Vulgate Bible and had access to the older manuscripts, said it was 2200 evenings and mornings. And going back even further, Josephus, the Jewish historian, also told us that it was 2200 evenings and mornings and he had access to the oldest temple documents of the time. Not only that, but Josephus told us that these 1100 days had been fulfilled during the time of Judas Maccabees in 168-165 BC! All 8 copies of the Dead Sea Scrolls have the number torn out, so it seems that the enemy has attempted to hide this number from us because it is the final key to the puzzle of these numbers, as I will try to show you.
The final 7 years began on October 9, 2009, when Mr. Obama was selected as the Nobel Peace Prize winner, strengthening his covenant to the American people and the world to usher in a new era of peace on earth. This was the 7th day of the Feast of Tabernacles, the only time of the year when the Jewish people would cry out, "Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!" They would wave palm branches after re-enacting the Battle of Jericho and look in anticipation for their coming Messiah. Then, Mr. Obama was given the award just a few hours before the start of the 24th day of Kislev. These are the 2 dates mentioned in Haggai 2, regarding the Lord shaking the heavens and the earth and bringing the desired of all nations to Himself, and the glory of the new temple, which is His body, His people, the third temple, being greater than that of the former temple.
1260 days later, Mr. Obama rode into Jerusalem on a borrowed beast, with children waving flags (the palm branches were the symbol of Israel in Jesus' day, just as the flag is today) and singing and dancing. Then, he went and stood in the holy place, where he did not belong. This was the very spot where the Son of God, the "third temple" that the Lord is building, first made His appearance on this earth. 1290 days from this event brings you to the Feast of Trumpets in 2016. Daniel told us that from the time that the abomination was set up, there would be 1290 days. And Jesus expounds on this and tells us that this event will involve someone standing in the holy place where he does not belong. This is the 1290-day count.
The 1260 days and 1335 days should have started on May 2, 2013, but the Lord is going to shorten these days to 1100 days. May 2, 2013, was the correct day for the 7th day of Passover, a mirror image of the 7th day of Tabernacles. It was the day that the Israelites crossed the Red Sea, the day when the walls of Jericho fell and the Israelites ascended at the sound of the last trumpet, and the day when Peter was released from prison by an angel. It is also very probable that it was the day that Lot escaped from Sodom and Gomorrah. All 4 of these events are foreshadowing the Rapture - crossing into the Promised Land and Sudden Destruction coming upon the Egyptians (representing the world), the walls falling and the people ascending at the sound of the last trumpet at the Battle of Jericho, and angels coming to rescue the godly (Peter and Lot) right before they would have been killed if they had stayed where they were at. May 2, 2012, was 40 days after the abomination was set up, 1260 days before the Day of Atonement in 2016 and 1335 days before the start of Hanukkah in 2016. This was the "appointed time" for the Rapture and Sudden Destruction to take place. May 1/2, 2013,also known as "Mayday", was the day when Catholics crowned the virgin Mary and the elite crowned their Mayday Queen also at the One World Trade Center, both of which were a mockery of the Bride of Christ being crowned as Queen, ruling and reigning with King Jesus on earth for 1000 years:

Celebrating May Day
http://www.schooloftheseasons.com/mayday.html
In Daniel 12:12 we read, “Blessed is the one who waits for and reaches the end of the 1,335 days.” And how do we know what day is the “Blessed Day”? Haggai 2:18, 19 – “‘From this day on, from this twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, give careful thought to the day when the foundation of the Lord’s temple was laid. Give careful thought: Is there yet any seed left in the barn? Until now, the vine and the fig tree, the pomegranate and the olive tree have not borne fruit. From this day on I will bless you.’” The BLESSED DAY is the 24th day of Kislev, which is the start of Hanukkah. If we count another 75 days from the Day of Atonement in 2016 (1335 – 1260 = 75), we reach the “blessed day”, which is the start of Hanukkah. The Feast of Hanukkah was a second Feast of Tabernacles that was started for those who were defiled (Haggai prophesied this in Haggai 2 and it started over 400 years later). The 24th of Kislev in 2016 is Christmas Day. This is the end of the Great Tribulation. Mr. Obama said that in his second term, he would win the war on Christmas. This is the final Christmas of his second term. I believe that Satan already knows the final day of the Great Tribulation. My question is, do Satan and Mr. Obama actually think that they can defeat Jesus when we return to earth with the Lord at this time? If so, it appears that the “great deceiver” had deceived even himself!
"Now, if I do win a second term as President, let me just say something to all my conspiracy-oriented friends on the right who think I'm planning to unleash some secret agenda: You're absolutely right. So allow me to close with a quick preview of the secret agenda you can expect in a second Obama administration. In my first term, we ended the war in Iraq; in my second term, I will win the war on Christmas. In my first term, we repealed the policy known as "don't ask, don't tell"- in my second term, we will replace it with a policy known as, it's raining men. In my first term, we passed health care reform; in my second term, I guess I'll pass it again.”
Some lyrics from “It’s Raining Men”:
Cause' tonight for the first time
Just about half past ten
For the first time in history
It's gonna start raining men
It's raining men
Hallejulah
It's raining men
Amen
God bless Mother Nature
She's a single woman too
She took over heaven
And she did what she had to do
She fought every Angel
To rearrange the sky
I feel stormy weather moving in
About to begin
Hear the thunder Don't you loose your head
The Jewish people would sing the "Hallelujah" on the 7th day of Tabernacles and the 7th day of Hanukkah. According to the song, when does it start to "rain men"? When the people sing Hallelujah! This is talking about the "Queen of Heaven", who rearranged the sky (took some of the angels with her). It's also warning about the beheadings that are about to start for the persecuted church that is left behind at the Rapture. The 7th day of Hanukkah was Queen Esther’s wedding day, who replaced Queen Vashti, who refused to come to the King when he called her on the 7th day of a Feast. I believe the true 7th day of Hanukkah was January 2, 2014, and then again on December 30, 2016. The 8th day of Hanukkah will be the Great Assembly on December 31, 2016, and then the start of the New Millennium will be January 1, 2017, the first day of the Gentile New Year. The Lord is also using the Gentile calendar for His mostly Gentile Bride to mark significant dates.
The 1100 days were fulfilled during the time of Judas Maccabees as the historian Josephus told us. He said that they began on the 15th day of Kislev, when the abomination was set up, and ended 1100 days later when Judas Maccabees rode into Jerusalem on the 25th of Kislev 3 years later to rededicate the Temple that had been defiled. This is all pointing us to the Feast of Hanukkah as the time of the crowning of the Bride of Christ on the 7th day of Hanukkah, just as Queen Esther was crowned on the first of Tivet. I believe it was on the 7th day of Hanukkah that the slaughter took place on the Sabbath after Judas Maccabees and his followers had fled into the mountains. When the disciples asked Jesus what the sign of His coming would be, he pointed them directly to Hanukkah. He spoke about the abomination, fleeing into the mountains, the women and children, the Sabbath, and winter. January 2, 2014, was the 7th day of Hanukkah on God's calendar and was to be the crowning of the Bride of Christ, and the Day of Slaughter. The New Moon started on January 1, 2014, making January 2, 2014, the first day of Tivet, the time to sound the trumpet, the 7th day of Hanukkah. Just as the Jewish Feast of Trumpets lasts for 2 days, so the "Gentile Feast of Trumpets" started on January 1 and went until January 2. This was the end of the puzzle and the time for the Rapture to take place. But there is still one more piece to this puzzle. This final piece shows the missionary heart of God to all nations, tribes, tongues and languages. It shows His love for His Gentile Bride. And it shows that He is delaying His judgement for as long as possible. He is slow to anger and abounding in love. He does not want anyone to perish, but all to come to repentance. He is extending His grace for as long as possible and is offering you one final chance to repent and turn to Him before it is too late.
What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun. Ecclesiastes 1:9
3 days of darkness
Then the Lord said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand toward the sky so that darkness spreads over Egypt—darkness that can be felt.” So Moses stretched out his hand toward the sky, and total darkness covered all Egypt for three days. No one could see anyone else or move about for three days. Yet all the Israelites had light in the places where they lived."The Three Days of Darkness is a tradition which recalls the plague of Moses against Egypt. Just as God punished the idolatrous Egyptians during the days of Moses with Ten Plagues - including the "three days of darkness," so also, at the end of time God will punish the entire world with "three days of darkness." The theory holds that the entire earth will be enveloped by perfect darkness lasting the span of three days and three nights.
These "3 days of darkness" are the last 3 years of the final 7 years before Christ returns. They represent the spiritual darkness that will cover the whole earth for 3 years. But the believers will be with Jesus, the "Light of the World". When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
The 7th day of Tabernacles is the “mirror image” of the 7th day of Unleavened Bread and is on the 21st day of the Jewish New Year, just as the 7th day of Unleavened Bread is on the 21st day of the Biblical New Year. When the Israelites crossed the Red Sea on the 7th day of Unleavened Bread, Exodus 14 tells us that, “throughout the night the cloud brought darkness to the one side and light to the other side;
so neither went near the other all night long.” One side crosses over
to the Promised Land in the light; the other side remains in the
darkness of night and Sudden Destruction is brought upon them. The
firstfruits Rapture was to take place on the 7th day of Unleavened Bread
on May 2, 2013, 1260 days before the Day of Atonement in 2016 and 1335
days before the start of Hanukkah in 2016, but the days are being
shortened in order that some flesh might be saved and because the
Bridegroom is delayed (see Matthew 25 and Revelation 10). The 3 1/2 year
Great Tribulation will only last for 3 years, just as it did in the
days of Judas Maccabees, when the Jewish people fled to the mountains
for 3 years. This is to fulfill the "3 days of darkness" that will
envelop the earth during the Great Tribulation.
The first 8 plagues of Egypt have started around the world in the last few years. Please click on this link to see how: http://jesusiscoming2016.webs.com/plaguesofegypt.htm . There are only 2 plagues left: 3 days of darkness and the killing of the firstborn. The plague of the firstborn, where the Lord spares the firstborn (firstfruits believers) takes place at the firstfruits Rapture.
The Bride of Christ is spared, but those who do not know Christ do not
escape the Great Tribulation, where most of the world’s population will
be killed. I believe the 3 days of darkness represent the final 3 years before Christ returns to earth. Daniel called the final 7 years, the 70th
“week”. This means that each year represents one day. I believe the
three days of darkness was to have started on January 2, 2014, and ends
in 2016, on the 7th
day of Hanukkah (December 30, 2016, when the Bride of Christ is crowned
Queen of the earth, with King Jesus to rule and reign for 1000 years). Just as Israel, America, and the world has rejected Jesus TWICE on the 7th
day of Tabernacles and accepted Mr. Obama (October 9, 2009, and
November 6, 2012), so also the Lord will reject Israel, America, and the
world as the 3 days (years) of darkness begin, but He will spare His
pureheart virgin Bride, who will escape His judgment.
The Abomination that causes Desolation
Matthew 24 – “So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation,’ spoken of through the prophet Daniel—let the reader understand— then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.
Let no one on the housetop go down to take anything out of the house.
Let no one in the field go back to get their cloak. How dreadful it
will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! Pray that
your flight will not take place in winter or on the Sabbath. For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now—and never to be equaled again.”Jesus told the reader to understand what he was talking about in this passage. This is because in order to understand the context of what Jesus is saying here, we need to dig a little and do some research. The 2 books of Maccabees were removed from the canon of Scripture, so many Christians are unaware of the events that took place 200 years before Christ died.
Haggai prophesied that a second Feast of Tabernacles would be established for those who were defiled, just as a Second Passover was established. He even told on what day this Second Tabernacles would begin – at the end of the 24th day of Kislev. Over 400 years later, the Lord established this Second Feast of Tabernacles, and today it is known as Hanukkah, or the Feast of Dedication.
So, here’s a little history… the evil Antiochus IV was ruling Israel. He had decided to try to make the Israelites more like the Greeks and had defiled their Temple and even had them sacrificing pigs on the altar. He did not allow them to keep the Sabbath or circumcise their children. On the 25th day of Kislev, Maccabees and a group of Israelites could no longer take it, and they killed a Jew after he tried to sacrifice a pig on the altar. They then killed some soldiers. Knowing that they would be punished, they fled to the mountains. It is widely accepted that this took place in 168 BC. If you look on the Rosetta Stone Calendar, the 25th day of Kislev took place on a Sunday. That Sabbath (which would later become the 7th day of Hanukkah, or the 7th day of the second Feast of Tabernacles), in the winter, some of Antiochus’ army showed up and slaughtered 1000 men, women and children on the Sabbath. Those who fled to the mountains formed a resistance movement and finally won back control of the Temple on the 25th day of Kislev, exactly 3 years later. They then cleansed the Temple and began a second Feast of Tabernacles on that day because they had been unable to celebrate the Feast at the proper time because the Temple had been defiled. They did exactly what was done during the 7-day celebration of Tabernacles and decided to continue to celebrate this every year. They call it Hanukkah, meaning “dedication”, since the Temple was re-dedicated to the Lord on this day.
So, here we have the obvious reference to Hanukkah, with the Lord telling the Jewish people to flee to the mountains and speaking about the Sabbath and winter. He is obviously telling the Jews to get out of Jerusalem and flee to the mountains for 3 years when they see this event take place – this abomination.
Many people have asked me if the abomination was set up on March 22, 2013, exactly 1260 days after Mr. Obama was chosen as the Nobel Peace Prize winner on the 7th day of Tabernacles when Mr. Obama stood in the holy place, then why did Jesus tell the people that when this event happens to not even take their cloak, but just to get out of the city and flee to the mountains? It’s been months now and nothing has happened that would cause people to have needed to flee to the mountains right after this event took place.
I have 2 answers for this question. The first is that the last 7 years are referred to as a “week” in Daniel, meaning that each year represents one day. Jesus may have been saying that within the same day (year) that the abomination is set up, the desolation will take place. In telling the Jewish people to not even take their cloaks, He may simply be pointing to the desolation taking place within the same year, which is considered to be a day in the book of Daniel. If the desolation were to take place on the same “day”, there really is no time for the people to concern themselves with taking their belongings, but they should just get out right away. Remember that a thousand years are as a day to the Lord, so He looks at time differently than we do. It is very clear from what Jesus said in the clues He gave to us that He was pointing to the Feast of Hanukkah, when he speaks about the abomination, fleeing to the mountains, mentions the women and children, the Sabbath, and winter. All five of these things that He mentions are direct references to what took place 200 years earlier when Maccabees led the revolt against Antiochus after the abomination took place and they fled into the mountains for 3 years, and the women and children were killed on the Sabbath during the winter. So, once again, this may be a clue to us that the desolation will take place within the coming year (day).
Another thought I have concerning this is that if the appointed time for the Rapture was actually the true 7th day of Passover on May 2, 2013, but it has been delayed, then Jesus was telling the Jews that right after the abomination is set up, the appointed time for the Rapture and Sudden Destruction is to occur shortly thereafter. However, He gives several hints to the Jewish people pointing to Hanukkah (flee to the mountains, abomination set up, winter, women, Sabbath, etc.) All of these clues must have been easily understood by His listening Jewish audience, who were well aware of the events that had happened 200 years earlier, when an abomination had been set up in the winter, the Jews had to flee to the mountains for exactly 3 years, the women and children had been killed on the Sabbath (which later became the 7th day of Hanukkah) and the Feast of Hanukkah was started as a result of these events. Immediately after He tells them these things, He lets them know that the days will be shortened. It's as if Jesus is telling them that the Sudden Destruction is appointed to take place 40 days after the abomination takes place in the middle of the 7 years, but that the Great Tribulation will be shortened in order that some flesh might survive and He points them right to Hanukkah in the clues that He gives:
“So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation,’ spoken of through the prophet Daniel—let the reader understand— then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. Let no one on the housetop go down to take anything out of the house. Let no one in the field go back to get their cloak. How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! Pray that your flight will not take place in winter or on the Sabbath. For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now—and never to be equaled again. If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened." Matthew 24:15-22
So, back to the story. The Temple was defiled during the Feast of Tabernacles just before the Israelites fled into the mountains. It had been defiled for at least 2 years before the Jewish people fled to the mountains. It then remained defiled for 3 more years until the Israelites were able to defeat their enemies and take back the Temple. What we see here is a foreshadow of the end-time events. The world was defiled on the 7th day of Tabernacles last year when Obama was reelected. They will still be defiled on the 7th day of Tabernacles this year. They will remain defiled for 3 years and then at the end of the "3 days of darkness", their time of defilement will end when Christ returns to earth to rule and reign for 1000 years. Judas Maccabeus rode into Jerusalem on the first day of Hanukkah, exactly 3 years after they had fled to the mountains and the people welcomed him with palm branches and singing, a foreshadow of Christ and His Bride returning to earth to set up His Kingdom for 1000 years. The day after the 8th day of Hanukkah will be January 1, 2017, not only the start of the New Year, but the start of the New Millennium.
2 Maccabees 10: Judas Maccabeus and his followers, under the leadership of the Lord, recaptured the Temple and the city of Jerusalem. They tore down the altars which foreigners had set up in the marketplace and destroyed the other places of worship that had been built. They purified the Temple and built a new altar. Then, with new fire started by striking flint, they offered sacrifice for the first time in two years, burned incense, lighted the lamps, and set out the sacred loaves. After they had done all this, they lay face down on the ground and prayed that the Lord would never again let such disasters strike them. They begged him to be merciful when he punished them for future sins and not hand them over any more to barbaric, pagan Gentiles. They rededicated the Temple on the twenty-fifth day of the month of Kislev, the same day of the same month on which the Temple had been desecrated by the Gentiles. The happy celebration lasted eight days, like the Festival of Tabernacles, and the people remembered how only a short time before, they had spent the Festival of Tabernacles wandering like wild animals in the mountains and living in caves. But now, carrying green palm branches and sticks decorated with ivy, they paraded around, singing grateful praises to him who had brought about the purification of his own Temple. Everyone agreed that the entire Jewish nation should celebrate this festival each year.
ESTHER MADE QUEEN
"And Esther was taken to King Achashverosh, to his palace, in the tenth month, which is the
month of Tevet, in the seventh year of his reign." This is the first
day of the fourth month counting from the Jewish New Year, and it would
later become the 7th day of Hanukkah. "And the
king loved Esther more than all the women, and she won his favor and
kindness more than all the virgins; he placed the royal crown on her
head and made her queen in Vashti's stead". Esther 1: This is what happened during the time of Xerxes…for a full 180 days he displayed the vast wealth of his kingdom and the splendor and glory of his majesty. When these days were over, the king gave a banquet, lasting seven days, in the enclosed garden of the king’s palace, for all the people from the least to the greatest who were in the citadel of Susa. The garden had hangings of white and blue linen, fastened with cords of white linen and purple material to silver rings on marble pillars. There were couches of gold and silver on a mosaic pavement of porphyry, marble, mother-of-pearl and other costly stones. Wine was served in goblets of gold, each one different from the other, and the royal wine was abundant, in keeping with the king’s liberality. By the king’s command each guest was allowed to drink with no restrictions, for the king instructed all the wine stewards to serve each man what he wished.
Queen Vashti also gave a banquet for the women in the royal palace of King Xerxes.
On the seventh day, when King Xerxes was in high spirits from wine, he commanded the seven eunuchs who served him to bring before him Queen Vashti, wearing her royal crown, in order to display her beauty to the people and nobles, for she was lovely to look at. But when the attendants delivered the king’s command, Queen Vashti refused to come. Then the king became furious and burned with anger.
Since it was customary for the king to consult experts in matters of law and justice, he spoke with the wise men who understood the times and were closest to the king—Karshena, Shethar, Admatha, Tarshish, Meres, Marsena and Memukan, the seven nobles of Persia and Media who had special access to the king and were highest in the kingdom.
“According to law, what must be done to Queen Vashti?” he asked. “She has not obeyed the command of King Xerxes that the eunuchs have taken to her.”
Then Memukan replied in the presence of the king and the nobles, “Queen Vashti has done wrong, not only against the king but also against all the nobles and the peoples of all the provinces of King Xerxes. For the queen’s conduct will become known to all the women, and so they will despise their husbands and say, ‘King Xerxes commanded Queen Vashti to be brought before him, but she would not come.’ This very day the Persian and Median women of the nobility who have heard about the queen’s conduct will respond to all the king’s nobles in the same way. There will be no end of disrespect and discord.
“Therefore, if it pleases the king, let him issue a royal decree and let it be written in the laws of Persia and Media, which cannot be repealed, that Vashti is never again to enter the presence of King Xerxes. Also let the king give her royal position to someone else who is better than she. Then when the king’s edict is proclaimed throughout all his vast realm, all the women will respect their husbands, from the least to the greatest.”
Luke 14: Jesus replied: “A certain man was preparing a great banquet and invited many guests. At the time of the banquet he sent his servant to tell those who had been invited, ‘Come, for everything is now ready.’
“But they all alike began to make excuses. The first said, ‘I have just bought a field, and I must go and see it. Please excuse me.’
“Another said, ‘I have just bought five yoke of oxen, and I’m on my way to try them out. Please excuse me.’
“Still another said, ‘I just got married, so I can’t come.’
“The servant came back and reported this to his master. Then the owner of the house became angry and ordered his servant, ‘Go out quickly into the streets and alleys of the town and bring in the poor, the crippled, the blind and the lame.’
“‘Sir,’ the servant said, ‘what you ordered has been done, but there is still room.’
“Then the master told his servant, ‘Go out to the roads and country lanes and compel them to come in, so that my house will be full. I tell you, not one of those who were invited will get a taste of my banquet.’”
Matthew 22: Jesus spoke to them again in parables, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a king who prepared a wedding banquet for his son. He sent his servants to those who had been invited to the banquet to tell them to come, but they refused to come.
“Then he sent some more servants and said, ‘Tell those who have been invited that I have prepared my dinner: My oxen and fattened cattle have been butchered, and everything is ready. Come to the wedding banquet.’
“But they paid no attention and went off—one to his field, another to his business. The rest seized his servants, mistreated them and killed them. The king was enraged. He sent his army and destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
“Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding banquet is ready, but those I invited did not deserve to come. So go to the street corners and invite to the banquet anyone you find.’ So the servants went out into the streets and gathered all the people they could find, the bad as well as the good, and the wedding hall was filled with guests.
Through these stories, we can see how Jesus invited His Bride (Israel/America/the world) to come to His Wedding Feast of the 7th day of Tabernacles (21st day of the Jewish New Year). She refused to come. She rejected the Messiah and instead chose Obama as the "Peacemaker" on the 7th day of Tabernacles in 2009. Then, on the true 7th day of Tabernacles on November 6, 2012, America chose Mr. Obama again. Then on the 7th day of the “Gentile Feast of Tabernacles”, January 21, 2013 (21st day of the GENTILE New Year), America the Beautiful, AGAIN rejected her Savior and crowned Obama, the Antichrist, to be their leader on this day. Both Israel and America have turned away from the Lord and refused to come to the Lord. They are defiled.
So, Esther was chosen to replace Queen Vashti. Esther 2:17 “The king loved Esther more than all the women, and she found favor and kindness with him more than all the virgins, so that he set the royal crown on her head and made her queen instead of Vashti.” Queen Esther represents the Bride of Christ that is crowned on the 7th day of Hanukkah (Jan 2, 2014, at the Firstfruits Rapture) and for the Tribulation saints on December 30, 2016.
Revelation 14: "No one could learn the song except the 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth. These are those who did not defile themselves with women, for they remained virgins. They follow the Lamb wherever he goes. They were purchased from among mankind and offered as firstfruits to God and the Lamb. No lie was found in their mouths; they are blameless."
The purehearted virgins who are blameless are redeemed from the earth and offered as firstfruits to the Lord. The number 144,000 is symbolic of the Bride of Christ. We see the number 144 again in Revelation 21, when John is describing the New Jerusalem, which is also symbolic of the Bride of Christ, or the wife of the Lamb as he calls it. This number 144 represents 12 times 12, a number or completeness, the 12 tribes of Israel and the 12 apostles, the Old and New Covenant. It is a symbolic number. The 000 at the end of the number represents a number of incredible size, that goes on and on, much like we might write … at the end of something to say and so on and so forth etcetra, etcetra. Most of the book of Revelation is written as symbolic and if you try to interpret it without the help of the Holy Spirit, you will most certainly be very confused.
So, here is the pattern. Four years from the 7th day of Tabernacles on October 9, 2009, from when Obama was chosen as the Nobel Peace Prize winner, until the 7th day of Hanukkah (when Queen Esther was crowned), we come to January 2, 2014. Then again, four years from the 7th day of Tabernacles on November 6, 2012, from when America the Beautiful rejected her King (representing Queen Vashti rejecting the King on the 7th day of a Feast), until the 7th day of Hanukkah (when Queen Esther was crowned), we come to December 30, 2016. This is the final end of the Great Tribulation and the start of the New Millennium. How amazing to think that God would start the New Millennium for His predominantly Gentile Bride right on January 1 - the day after the 8th and final day of Hanukkah and the day of the Great Assembly!
The 7th day of Hanukkah is the day that represents the 7th day of the wedding, when the veil is removed and the wedding supper begins. The firstfruits are taken during the first Rapture, followed by "3 days of darkness" (3 years of darkness for those left behind). Then, on the 7th day of the Feast of Hanukkah in 2016, the New Millennium begins, and the whole Bride of Christ is crowned as Queen of the Earth, ruling and reigning for 1000 years with King Jesus. We then see in Zechariah 14 that all nations must go to Jerusalem during the Feast of Tabernacles at the proper time because they are no longer defiled. This is the only Feast mentioned that is celebrated in the New Millennium. The Lord is clearly trying to show us that the temple (His Body- the Church) is defiled and cannot celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles at the proper time, but that His Bride will wash her robes and be made spotless and will then be able to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles at the proper time during the New Millennium because we will no longer be defiled.
Esther was married and became Queen on the 7th day of Hanukkah. Four years earlier, Queen Vashti refused to come to the King when he called for her on the 7th day of a Feast. This represents the Lord calling the world and America to come to Him and display her beauty to the world on the 7th day of the Feast of Tabernacles on October 9, 2009, and then again on November 6/7, 2012, but she refused to come to Him. The world and America has defiled herself. She is then cut down at the end of 4 years and will be replaced as “Queen” when Christ returns to earth.
The Parable of the Fig Tree
The 7th day of Tabernacles in 2012 was the end of the third year from when Mr. Obama was given his Nobel Peace Prize in 2009, on the 7th day of Tabernacles. Luke 13:6-9 Then he told
this parable: 'A man had a fig tree growing in his vineyard, and he
went to look for fruit on it but did not find any. So he said to the man
who took care of the vineyard, ‘For three years now
I’ve been coming to look for fruit on this fig tree and haven’t found
any. Cut it down! Why should it use up the soil?’ “‘Sir,’ the man
replied, ‘leave it alone for one more year, and I’ll dig around it and fertilize it. If it bears fruit next year, fine! If not, then cut it down.’”
The fig tree was ready to be cut down after the third year, but it was
given one final year to bear fruit. It is then cut down after 4 years.
I believe this is why there was so much hype about December 2012 -
because this was the end of the third year when the tree was to be cut
down. The Lord graciously has given us one final year to bear fruit
before cutting the tree down.America in Prophecy: It was all pointing to us....
Daniel 4: Here is my dream; interpret it for me. These are the visions I saw while lying in bed: I looked, and there before me stood a tree in the middle of the land. Its height was enormous. The tree grew large and strong and its top touched the sky; it was visible to the ends of the earth. Its leaves were beautiful, its fruit abundant, and on it was food for all. Under it the wild animals found shelter, and the birds lived in its branches; from it every creature was fed.“In the visions I saw while lying in bed, I looked, and there before me was a holy one, a messenger, coming down from heaven. He called in a loud voice: ‘Cut down the tree and trim off its branches; strip off its leaves and scatter its fruit. Let the animals flee from under it and the birds from its branches. But let the stump and its roots, bound with iron and bronze, remain in the ground, in the grass of the field.
America's first national monument is in Wyoming and called "Devil's Tower". It looks exactly like a large tree stump that was cut down.
The tree was given FOUR years to bear fruit. The tree did not bear fruit and will be cut down. Obama was chosen on the 7th day of Tabernacles and given the award just before the start of Hanukkah 4 years ago. This is the time for the “tree” (America) to be cut down.
HANUKKAH – THE SECOND FEAST OF TABERNACLES
Hanukkah
is an eight day festival that celebrates the ancient victory of the
Maccabees over the Syrians whose leader typifies the Antichrist. This
“Feast of Dedication” is popularly known as the “Festival of Lights.”
This festival is associated with the miracle in which the lamps stayed
lit for “eight” days while the Temple in Jerusalem was rededicated,
although there was only enough oil to fuel the Temple's lamps for only
“one” day. A revolt started in Modein where Mattathias killed a Jew making a profaned sacrifice and then killed the king's official who enforced such sacrifices. Mattathias fled to the hills with his sons. Seleucid troops from Jerusalem pursued the rebels and slaughtered a group of women and children on the Sabbath.
His successor, Judas Maccabee, along with many pious Jews - called the
“Chasidim” (pious ones) - joined the revolt. They would descend from the
mountains and would strike the Syrians with swift unexpected attacks
(Maccabee - “Battle hammer”). After three years of fighting against overwhelming odds, the Maccabees regained control of the Temple. During the time of the Maccabees, the arrogant murderous ruler Antiochus IV had defiled the Temple and set up an image of himself demanding that he be worshipped. After three years, his army was defeated and he was overthrown. The Temple was cleansed and rededicated to the worship of the God of Israel.
Hanukkah was originally celebrated as a second Feast of Tabernacles. It was made a second Feast of Tabernacles because, in the three years that the Temple service was halted, it was impossible to observe the Feast of Tabernacles.
Waving palm branches and crying Hosanna were associated with the festivals of Tabernacles and Hanukkah, both of which celebrated a ruler riding in to free Jerusalem. Palm branches were waved at the first Hanukkah as the people celebrated the victory of Judah Maccabee. The palm branches of Jesus' final entrance into Jerusalem encapsulated the hope of the people that he, like Judah Maccabee, would lead the people to freedom.
The Feast of Dedication (Hanukkah) is a feast held by the Jews, throughout the country for eight days, starting on the 25th Kislev (December), in commemoration of the cleansing of the temple and dedication of the altar by Antiochus Epiphanes (I Macc 4:56.59). The feast was to be kept 'with mirth and gladness.' 2 Macc 10:6.7 says it was kept like the Feast of the Tabernacles, with the carrying of palms and other branches, and the singing of psalms. Josephus calls it 'Lights,' from the joy which accompanied it.
Hannukah is not only the festival of the re-dedication of the Temple, but is also a second Feast of Tabernacles and it is observed, as the Feast of Tabernacles is, with the singing of Hallel and the carrying of the lulov (palm branches).
The Book of Maccabees connects Judah's celebration to King Solomon's dedication of the First Temple, when a miraculous fire descended from heaven. Hanukah means dedication and refers to the rededication of the Temple to the service of God after it had been defiled with pagan images and practices.
I Maccabees 4: 44-59
"They discovered what should be done about the altar of holocausts which had been profaned and very properly decided to pull it down, that it might never become a reproach to them, from its defilement by the pagans. They therefore demolished it,
and deposited the stones in a suitable place on the Temple hill to await the appearance of a prophet who should give a ruling about them. They took unhewn stones, as the Law prescribed, and built a new altar on the lines of the old one. They restored the Holy Place and the interior of the house, and purified the courts. They made new sacred vessels, and brought the lampstand, the altar of incense, and the table into the Temple. They burned incense on the altar and lit the lamps on the lampstand, and these shone inside the Temple.
They set out the loaves on the table and hung the curtains and completed all the tasks they had undertaken. On the twenty-fifth of the ninth month, Chislev, in the year one hundred and forty-eight, they rose at dawn, and offered a lawful sacrifice on the new altar of holocausts which they had made. The altar was dedicated, to the sound of zithers, harps and cymbals, at the same time of the year and on the same day on which the pagans had originally profaned it. The whole people fell prostrate in adoration, praising to the skies him who had made them so successful. For eight days they celebrated the dedication of the altar, joyfully offering holocausts, communion sacrifices and thanksgivings. They ornamented the front of the Temple with crowns and bosses of gold, repaired the gates and the storerooms and fitted them with doors. There was no end to the rejoicing among the people, and the reproach of the pagans was lifted from them. Judas, with his brothers and the whole assembly of Israel, made it a law that the days of the dedication of the altar should be celebrated yearly at the proper season, for eight days beginning on the twenty-fifth of the month Chislev, with rejoicing and gladness."
2 Maccabees 1: 7-9
"Then we prayed to the Lord and were heard; we offered a sacrifice with wheat flour, kindled the lamps and set out the loaves. And we now recommend you to keep the feast of Tabernacles of the month of Chislev. In the year one hundred and eighty-eight'."
2 Maccabees 10:1-8
"Maccabaeus and his companions, under the Lord's guidance, restored the Temple and the city, and pulled down the altars erected by the foreigners in the market place, as well as the sacred enclosures. They purified the sanctuary and built another altar; then striking fire from flints and using this fire, they offered the first sacrifice for two years, burning incense, lighting the lamps and setting out the loaves. When they had done this they threw themselves flat on the ground, and implored the Lord never again to let them fall into such adversity, but if they should ever sin, to correct them with moderation and not to deliver them over to blasphemous and barbarous nations. This day of the purification of the Temple fell on the very day on which the Temple had been profaned by the foreigners, the twenty-fifth of the same month, Chislev. They kept eight festal days with rejoicing, in the manner of the feast of Tabernacles, remembering how, not long before at the time of the feast of Tabernacles, they had been living in the mountains and caverns like wild beasts. Then, carrying branches, leafy boughs and palms, they offered hymns to him who had brought the cleansing of his own Holy Place to a happy outcome. They also decreed by public edict, ratified by vote, that the whole Jewish nation should celebrate those same days every year."
Hanukkah and the Feast of Tabernacles are similar in that both include reading of the Hallel Psalms, waving of palm branches and the illumination of the Temple.
In the book of Maccabees the history of the temple rededication is recorded. In the fourth chapter it reads in part: "The entire army gathered together and went up to Mount Zion. They saw the sanctuary desolated and the altar profaned, the gates burned up, and weeds growing in the courts as in a forest or as on one of the mountains, and the priests' chambers torn down. They tore their garments and made great lamentation, and put ashes on their heads, and fell on their faces on the ground, blew solemn blasts upon the trumpets, and cried out to Heaven." This was the LAST TRUMPET that was blown on the LAST FEAST DAY of the year.
Hanukkah was DIRECTLY patterned after the FEAST OF TABERNACLES. The Feast of Tabernacles was a seven-day feast followed by a sabbath of rest. Jewish history says this:
“And they kept eight days with gladness, as in the Feast of the Tabernacles, remembering that not long afore they held the feast of tabernacles, when they wandered in the mountains and dens like beasts. Therefore, they bare branches, and fair boughs, and palms also, and sang psalms unto him that had given them good success in cleansing his place" (2 Macc. 10:6-7)
So, originally, Hanukkah was a second observance of Tabernacles, in much the same way that Hezekiah instituted a second observance of Passover when the people were not able to keep the first one. (2 Chr. 30; cf. Num. 9:10-11). This explains why the Hallel (hallelujah) (Psalms 113-118), which was originally sung only at Tabernacles, is still sung in the synagogue Hanukkah service today. The Maccabees "sang psalms" (2 Macc. 10:7) as in Tabernacles.
The fact that Hanukkah is pattered after Tabernacles also provides the meaning for the emphasis on lights. When Solomon dedicated the first Temple of the Lord, he did so at the Feast of Tabernacles (2 Chr. 5:3). That dedication was accompanied by the coming of the Shekinah glory to the Temple and the divine lighting of the fire upon the sacrificial altar (2 Chr. 7:1). As a result, the Feast of Tabernacles later developed an impressive light celebration each night in the Temple. Since Hanukkah celebrated the relighting of the fire on the purified altar and was patterned after the Feast of Tabernacles, the emphasis upon light was borrowed quite naturally as viewed.
Numbers 9: 9-12 – “Give the following instructions to the people of Israel: If any of the people now or in future generations are ceremonially unclean at Passover time because of touching a dead body, or if they are on a journey and cannot be present at the ceremony, they may still celebrate the Lord’s Passover. They must offer the Passover sacrifice one month later, at twilight on the fourteenth day of the second month. They must eat the Passover lamb at that time with bitter salad greens and bread made without yeast. They must not leave any of the lamb until the next morning, and they must not break any of its bones. They must follow all the normal regulations concerning the Passover.
Haggai 2 - On the twenty-first day of the seventh month, (7th day of the Feast of Tabernacles) the word of the Lord came through the prophet Haggai: “This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘In a little while I will once more shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land. I will shake all nations, and what is desired by all nations will come, and I will fill this house with glory,’ says the Lord Almighty. ‘The silver is mine and the gold is mine,’ declares the Lord Almighty. ‘The glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house,’ says the Lord Almighty. ‘And in this place I will grant peace,’ declares the Lord Almighty.”
On the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month (day before Hanukkah starts), in the second year of Darius, the word of the Lord came to the prophet Haggai: “This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘Ask the priests what the law says: If someone carries consecrated meat in the fold of their garment, and that fold touches some bread or stew, some wine, olive oil or other food, does it become consecrated?’”The priests answered, “No.”
Then Haggai said, “If a person defiled by contact with a dead body touches one of these things, does it become defiled?”
“Yes,” the priests replied, “it becomes defiled.”
Then Haggai said, “‘So it is with this people and this nation in my sight,’ declares the Lord. ‘Whatever they do and whatever they offer there is defiled.
“‘Now give careful thought to this from this day on—consider how things were before one stone was laid on another in the Lord’s temple. When anyone came to a heap of twenty measures, there were only ten. When anyone went to a wine vat to draw fifty measures, there were only twenty. I struck all the work of your hands with blight, mildew and hail, yet you did not return to me,’ declares the Lord. ‘From this day on, from this twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, give careful thought to the day when the foundation of the Lord’s temple was laid. Give careful thought: Is the seed yet in the barn? Yes, as yet the vine, and the fig-tree, and the pomegranate, and the olive-tree, hath not brought forth: ‘From this day on I will bless you.’”
The word of the Lord came to Haggai a second time on the twenty-fourth day of the month: “Tell Zerubbabel governor of Judah that I am going to shake the heavens and the earth. I will overturn royal thrones and shatter the power of the foreign kingdoms. I will overthrow chariots and their drivers; horses and their riders will fall, each by the sword of his brother.
“‘On that day,’ declares the Lord Almighty, ‘I will take you, my servant Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel,’ declares the Lord, ‘and I will make you like my signet ring, for I have chosen you,’ declares the Lord Almighty.”
Hanukkah is a second Feast of Tabernacles. Just as the Jews who were ceremonially unclean were unable to celebrate Passover until a later date, so God instituted a second Feast of Tabernacles. Haggai 2 tells us that the Lord spoke to him that He would shake the earth and the desired of all nations would come to Him. He spoke this on the 7th day of the Feast of Tabernacles. But then the Lord again speaks to Haggai that from the 24th day of the 9th month (Hanukkah), “‘From this day on I will bless you.’” He again speaks of shaking the heavens and the earth. Three times He mentions this date and tells us to give careful thought to it. He mentions the exact same thing that would disqualify someone from celebrating Passover on the correct date – touching a dead body and being defiled – and cause them to have to celebrate the Passover during the time allotted for the second Passover. What the Lord is saying here is that the 7th day of the Feast of Tabernacles was the correct time for Him to shake the heavens and the earth, but the time has been moved to the second Feast of Tabernacles, a.k.a. Hanukkah.
Verse 19 says: “Give careful thought: Is the seed yet in the barn? Yes, as yet the vine, and the fig-tree, and the pomegranate, and the olive-tree, hath not brought forth.” The word used here from bringing forth is “nasa” and means, “to lift up, to be taken away, be carried off, be swept away.” The Lord is telling us that we have not yet been raptured on the 7th day of Tabernacles, but that we should give careful thought to the next verse: From this day on I will bless you. From which day? From the Feast of Hanukkah! The Lord is telling us that although He did not come on the 7th day of Tabernacles, He will come on the second Feast of Tabernacles, which is Hanukkah. Which day of Hanukkah will He come for us on? We can’t be totally certain, but most likely the 7th day of Hanukkah, just as He was to come on the 7th day of Tabernacles.
Do you know what else I believe the Lord is telling us? “From this day on, from this twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, give careful thought to the day when the foundation of the Lord’s temple was laid.” His temple, or body, was conceived during this Feast, the Feast of Lights. He is the Light of the World. His temple (body) was laid (conceived) at this time, and He was born 9 months later on the first day of the Feast of Tabernacles, when He “tabernacled” among us. This word for “laid” is “suwm” and can also mean “to ordain, establish, MAKE, PLANT, FASHION, appoint, bring to pass, or TRANSFORM INTO.” His temple (body) was transformed into, made into, fashioned into, planted into FLESH. Jesus took on flesh during Hanukkah, the second Feast of Tabernacles, when He was conceived. He took on our likeness so that we can take on His likeness, during the same Feast.
Summary of the 7th day of Hanukkah
Jesus put many CLUES in Matthew 24 as to the timing of when the Tribulation would begin...“Tell us,” they said, “ WHEN WILL THIS HAPPEN, and what will be the SIGN OF YOUR COMING and of the end of the age?”
For THEN there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now—and never to be equaled again.
WHEN? WHEN WILL THIS HAPPEN???? Jesus said THEN. THEN means at that time or immediately after this happens. What happens? Look at the clues.
Matthew and Mark both said, LET THE READER UNDERSTAND. What is Matthew and Mark telling us to understand? THE CLUES! Here are the clues that Jesus gives us:
1. So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation,’ spoken of through the prophet Daniel—let the reader understand
2. FLEE TO THE MOUNTAINS
3. How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers!
4. Pray that your flight will not take place in winter or on the Sabbath.
How are these clues? What is Jesus talking about? There is no doubt in my mind that every single one of Jesus' disciples knew EXACTLY what Jesus was referring to. This was an event that had taken place 200 years earlier and the Jews knew the history of it very well. An abomination was set up on the 25th of Kislev. On that day, the Jews fled into the mountains after killing Antiochus' temple guards and the Jew who had tried to make the abominable sacrifice. The following Sabbath, during the winter, Antiochus' army showed up and slaughtered 1000 people, including women and young children.
This all took place during the Feast of Hanukkah, although at the time, there was no Feast of Hanukkah! This is what began the events that led to Hanukkah exactly 3 years later. Exactly 3 years later, on Kislev 25, the Jews in the mountains were able to defeat Antiochus' army and take back the temple and celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles that they hadn't been able to properly celebrate for 3 years because the temple and the altar were defiled. So, from that time on, the Jews instituted a SECOND Feast of Tabernacles to be celebrated from Kislev 25 to Tevet 2 in commemoration of the rededication of the temple. They did the same things on Hanukkah that they did on Tabernacles and history says that the Jews could not even tell the difference between the 2 festivals, because they did the same things at both festivals.
Haggai prophesied 350 years before this that there would be a second Feast of Tabernacles that would start from the 24th day of Kislev. Haggai 2 speaks of the Lord shaking the heavens and the earth on the 7th day of the Feast of Tabernacles, but then the Lord shows Haggai that just as the Jews were given a second Passover if they were defiled and unable to celebrate Passover on time, so there would also be a second Feast of Tabernacles for those who were defiled. He even tells Haggai when this second Feast of Tabernacles would begin, from the 24th day of the 9th month. Sure enough, around 350 years later, a second Feast of Tabernacles is started from the 24th/25th day of the 9th month. Just as Solomon dedicated the temple during the Feast of Tabernacles and fire fell from Heaven and the Shekhinah glory fell on everyone there, so during the second Feast of Tabernacles, the temple was RE-dedicated (hence, the name Hanukkah, meaning dedication), and the fire did not go out for the entire 8 days, even though there was only enough oil to burn the lampstand for one day.
The Lord shows us the same pattern from the story of Esther. Queen Vishti is called to appear before the King and the people wearing her royal crown on the 7th day of a Feast. This represents the 7th day of Tabernacles. She refused to come. The King became so angry. He then removed Queen Vishti as the queen and found a new bride, named Esther. When did the King marry Queen Esther? On the 7th day of Hanukkah (although, again, at the time there was no Hanukkah)! The Lord hid all of these things in His Word for us to search out and find like hidden jewels. Jesus tells a parable about a King who invites His servants to come to His Son's Wedding Feast. But they refuse to come. They are all too busy. So He becomes ENRAGED, just as King Xerxes was enraged that His queen would not come when He had beckoned her to come. So, in the parable, He invites the crippled and the lame, and anyone at all who is willing to come. Israel rejected their Messiah. They refused to come. They were defiled. Even many believers, many who are in the Church of Laodicea, are just too busy for the Lord. They are defiled. They refuse to come when He calls to them. I believe that the Scriptures are pointing us to the 7th day of Hanukkah, as a replacement for the 7th day of Tabernacles, as the time of the Rapture and wedding Feast of the King!
It is so obvious when we know the history of the Jews that Jesus is referring to this when his disciples ask Him when He will come. He tells them the answer. He's basically saying, HANUKKAH!
Here is my summary of what I believe Jesus was telling the disciples in Matthew 24:15-21, after the disciples asked Jesus when He was coming:
Jesus speaking: "You want to know when I am coming? ON HANUKKAH! Remember when the abomination was set up and the Jews had to flee to the mountains and the women and young children were killed on the Sabbath during the winter? Yes, you remember that story from your history lessons? So, when did that take place? Yes, it took place on Hanukkah. So, you ask Me when I am coming, and my answer to you is Hanukkah. And from that time on, there will be distress as never before and never will be again. And the days will be shortened, because if I didn't shorten them, nobody would survive. What was supposed to be a 3 1/2 year period of Great Tribulation, will only last for 3 years, just exactly as it did in the days of Judas Maccabees when Hanukkah began."
Comet Ison
I believe that Comet Ison stands for "Is On" as in "The writing IS ON the wall". Later this year, beginning in November/December,
the comet called ISON will appear in our skies. This could become the
greatest spectacle ever for those who love looking at our galaxy.
Comet ISON belongs to a special category of comets called sungrazers.
As the comet performs a hairpin turn around the sun on that date, its
ices will vaporize furiously in the intense solar heat. Assuming it
defies death by evaporation, ISON is expected to become a brilliant
object perhaps 10 times brighter than Venus. Or brighter. Some predict
it could put the full moon to shame. "The writing on the wall" (or "the handwriting on the wall" or "the writing is on the wall" or "Mene Mene"), is an idiom for "imminent doom or misfortune" and for "the future is predetermined".
The expression originates from the Book of Daniel, Chapter 5, from the handwriting on the wall that was witnessed at a banquet hosted by king Belshazzar. As those at the feast profaned the sacred vessels pillaged from the Jerusalem Temple, a disembodied hand appeared and wrote on the palace wall the words, "Mene, Mene, Tekel, Upharsin". The prophet Daniel was summoned and interpreted this message as the imminent end for the Babylonian kingdom. That night, Belshazzar was killed and the Persians sacked the capital city.
During the drunken feast, Belshazzar uses the holy golden and silver vessels, from Solomon's Temple, to praise "the gods of gold and silver, brass, iron, wood, and stone". Soon afterwards, disembodied fingers appear and write on the wall of the royal palace the words:
מנא, מנא, תקל, ופרסין Mene, Mene, Tekel, Upharsin
Although usually left untranslated in English translations of Daniel, these words are known Aramaic names of measures of currency: MENE, a mina (from the root meaning "to count"), TEKEL, a spelling of shekel (from the root meaning "to weigh"), PERES, half a mina (from the root meaning "to divide", but additionally resembling the word for "Persia"). The last word (prs) he read as peres not parsin. His free choice of interpretation and decoding revealed the menacing subtext: "Thou art weighed in the balance and art found wanting." The divine menace against the dissolute Belshazzar, whose kingdom was to be divided between the Medes and Persians, was swiftly realized. That very night King Belshazzar is slain, and Darius the Mede becomes King. And this is the writing that was inscribed: mina, mina, shekel, half-mina. This is the interpretation of the matter: mina, God has numbered the days of your kingdom and brought it to an end; shekel, you have been weighed on the scales and found wanting; half-mina, your kingdom is divided and given to the Medes and Persians. —Daniel 5:25-28
Night of the Comet Movie 1984
There are many clues in this movie about what is coming this January. It starts off by talking about a comet in a long elliptical orbit around the sun. Only a few scientists are aware of the danger this comet is to the earth. Most people on earth are just partying and having a good time. The movie takes place around Christmas or New Year's. There are Christmas trees up, but everyone is having a "midnight party" waiting for the comet to appear, so this also points to New Year's Eve. When the comet passes, everyone disappears or turns into zombies (rapture event). Only a few people are spared - those who were behind steel walls escape from the effects of the comet. In the movie, the rapture event takes place on a Friday night when there is a meteor shower (Jan 3 is Friday and when the Quadrantid meteor shower peaks). Just too many clues in this movie to be coincidence. They've obviously known about this comet Ison for a very long time - it was not just discovered a year ago.
Draco the Dragon and Ison
On December 26, 2013, Comet ISON was supposed to enter the Draco Constellation
(otherwise known as Draco the Dragon) near the star Thuban, its
brightest in the constellation. For centuries, sky watchers and
astronomers have learned from the ancients that when comets are
positioned in Draco, poison was scattered throughout the world. By the
Kabalists, Draco is associated with the Hebrew letter MEM and the TAROT
13th card of “Death”. The story of the dragon and the dragon slayer is as old as time itself ; Saint George and the dragon; Apollo and Python; Ophiuchus- the 13th constellation, the Serpent Bearer which the Sun and Comet ISON will pass through November 29 -December 17: King Arthur Pendragon and knights of fairytale who slayed dragons to modern-day movies about dragon slayers. Even the Bible mentions a story about dragon slayers.
From Revelation 12:-1-2
”A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head. She was pregnant and cried out in pain as she was about to give birth.”
On November 9, 2013 COMET ISON crossed the elliptical and equator forming a crossroad in the heavens. During this time, COMET ISON was in the constellation Virgo, The Virgin. Comet ISON will pass within the Roche Limit, which means that the Sun’s gravity or temperature may cause Comet ISON to disintegrate. If ISON can survive, it will shed an enormous amount of material and become the most spectacular of all of comets in 2013. Some astronomers believe it even has a chance to become the “Comet of the Century” – rivaling Ikeya-Seki, which was the brightest comet in the 20th century.
What’s very interesting is that COMET ISON will disappear in December and be swallowed by the dragon or the constellation DRACO - very similar to the following Bible verse.
From Revelation 12: 3-5
“Then another sign appeared in heaven: an enormous red dragon with seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns on its heads. Its tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth. The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so that it might devour her child the moment he was born. She gave birth to a son, a male child, who “will rule all the nations with an iron scepter. And her child was snatched up to God and to his throne.”
But after COMET ISON's encounter with DRACO the dragon, she will have given birth. The question is, what will COMET ISON give birth to after the comet leaves Draco on January 2, 2014?
From conception to birth, the human gestation period is 266 days. If the Jewish calendar is a month off, the 266th day of the Biblical year will be January 3, 2014.
Is it possible that Revelation 12 is telling us that the TAIL of comet Ison will sweep stars out of the sky and fling them to earth when it is in the constellation of DRACO (the dragon)? Ison is supposed to be in DRACO from December 26, 2013, to January 2, 2014. And at the time that this takes place, the "woman" will give birth?
One of the worst natural disasters ever known to man (outside of the flood in Noah's day) happened 9 years ago on December 26, 2004. Nine represents finality or judgment that is committed unto Jesus as "the Son of man" (John 5:27; Acts 17:31). It marks the completeness, the end and issue of all things as to man - the judgment of man and all his works. It is a factor of 666, which is 9 times 74. It was 666 years ago that Comet Negra came, bringing 3 years of judgment during the "Black Plague" that killed up to 60% of Europe's population.
Did a Comet cause the Black Death?
666 years ago, 3 years of "darkness" came on the earth when Europe was hit with the "Black Plague". From 1347 to 1350, the Black Death ravaged Europe, reducing its population by somewhere between 30-60%. It was one of the most lethal pandemics in history and as everyone knows, was caused by the bubonic plague. Or was it?
Mysteries of the Black Death
Conventional wisdom holds that the Black Death was the third great outbreak of bubonic plague, following the Plague of Athens and the Justinian Plague. Supposedly, infected rodent populations in Central Asia, or perhaps Africa, brought the disease to the Black Sea region and the Central Mediterranean, via trade routes. However, the conventional theory is not without problems. Here are just a few to consider:- Extraordinary Kill Rate: The Black Death killed people at an extraordinary rate, far higher than that of a typical bubonic plague outbreak. There is a pneumonic form of the disease which could explain the kill rate but its symptoms don’t match the descriptions of Black Death victims.
- Lack of Dead Rats: No written documents from that time describe the vast legions of dead rats required to carry the plague.
- The Iceland Problem: The Black Death killed over half of Iceland’s population but rats didn’t actually reach Iceland until the 19th century.
- Geographic Gaps: The Black Death moved in strange ways, including a leap over Constantinople on its way across the Mediterranean.
- Cold Temperatures: It continued to kill people during the winter months in northern Europe despite the fact that the plague requires relatively warm temperatures to survive.
Was the Black Death caused by a Comet?
So, what was the Black Death? One intriguing possibility, according to Professor Mike Baillie’s book, New Light on the Black Death: The Cosmic Connection, is a comet shower. Multiple sources tell us that there was a significant earthquake on January 25, 1348. Other earthquakes soon followed. Baillie believes that these were caused by fragments from Comet Negra, which passed by earth in 1347. As the material descended from space, it fell on the northern Mediterranean Sea first, before branching outwards.Through ground and sea-based collisions, these fragments injected dust as well as large amounts of carbon- and nitrogen-based chemicals into the stratosphere. This poisoned the breathing air and the drinking water, causing most of the casualties associated with the Black Death. Other deaths can be attributed to weakened immune systems, caused by the infected air and water, which made people easy prey for bubonic plague, anthrax, and other ailments.
Evidence for a Comet Shower?
But is there evidence to support this theory? More than you might think.“There have been masses of dead fish, animals, and other things along the sea shore and in many places covered in dust. And all these things seem to have come from the great corruption of the air and earth.”The above quote comes from a contemporary of the Black Death. Documents of the time speak of earthquakes, tidal waves, rains of fire, foul odors, strange colors in the sky, mists, even dragons. Historians generally dismiss these descriptions as colorful imagery or the ravings of religious fanatics. However, Baillie suggests that they might be written accounts of what was happening at the time, as people tried to describe the startling things that they saw all around them.
Also, tree-ring data from Europe and the Americas indicates that there was a global environmental downturn during the years of the Black Death. Ice core data suggests that there were increased amounts of carbon dioxide and ammonia in the air, suggesting ocean turnover. All of this points to a corruption in the atmosphere.
Guerrilla Explorer’s Analysis
Can we say for certain that a comet shower caused the Black Death? No. However, Professor Baillie has accumulated an impressive body of evidence that deserves greater recognition. In my opinion, his theory is the most compelling one yet to explain the true cause of the most nefarious pandemic in history.
January 3, 2014, is the 266th day of the Biblical Year
It
is widely accepted that the due date for a baby to be born can be
calculated as 266 days from conception. According to the New Moon
sighting in Israel, April 12, 2013, was the correct start date for the
Biblical New Year. The 266th day of the Biblical Year is January 3, 2014.
This is the "due date" for the baby to be born. There are numerous
Scriptures that compare the starting of the Great Tribulation to a woman
going into labor.
Matthew 24:8 - All these are but the beginning of the birth pains.
1Thessalonians 5:3 - While people are saying, “There is peace and security,” then sudden destruction will come upon them as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. Revelation 12:1-17 - And a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars. She was pregnant and was crying out in birth pains and the agony of giving birth. And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great red dragon, with seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads seven diadems. His tail swept down a third of the stars of heaven and cast them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, so that when she bore her child he might devour it. She gave birth to a male child, one who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron, but her child was caught up to God and to his throne, ...
John 16:20-22 - A woman giving birth to a child has pain because her time has come; but when her baby is born she forgets the anguish because of her joy that a child is born into the world. So with you: Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy.
Isaiah 26:17-21 - As a pregnant woman about to give birth
writhes and cries out in her pain,
so were we in your presence, Lord.
We were with child, we writhed in labor,
but we gave birth to wind.
We have not brought salvation to the earth,
and the people of the world have not come to life.
writhes and cries out in her pain,
so were we in your presence, Lord.
We were with child, we writhed in labor,
but we gave birth to wind.
We have not brought salvation to the earth,
and the people of the world have not come to life.
But your dead will live, Lord;
their bodies will rise—
let those who dwell in the dust
wake up and shout for joy—
your dew is like the dew of the morning;
the earth will give birth to her dead.
their bodies will rise—
let those who dwell in the dust
wake up and shout for joy—
your dew is like the dew of the morning;
the earth will give birth to her dead.
Go, my people, enter your rooms
and shut the doors behind you;
hide yourselves for a little while
until his wrath has passed by.
See, the Lord is coming out of his dwelling
to punish the people of the earth for their sins.
The earth will disclose the blood shed on it;
the earth will conceal its slain no longer.
and shut the doors behind you;
hide yourselves for a little while
until his wrath has passed by.
See, the Lord is coming out of his dwelling
to punish the people of the earth for their sins.
The earth will disclose the blood shed on it;
the earth will conceal its slain no longer.
Isaiah 13: A prophecy against Babylon that Isaiah son of Amoz saw:
Raise a banner on a bare hilltop,
shout to them;
beckon to them
to enter the gates of the nobles.
I have commanded those I prepared for battle;
I have summoned my warriors to carry out my wrath—
those who rejoice in my triumph.
shout to them;
beckon to them
to enter the gates of the nobles.
I have commanded those I prepared for battle;
I have summoned my warriors to carry out my wrath—
those who rejoice in my triumph.
Listen, a noise on the mountains,
like that of a great multitude!
Listen, an uproar among the kingdoms,
like nations massing together!
The Lord Almighty is mustering
an army for war.
They come from faraway lands,
from the ends of the heavens—
the Lord and the weapons of his wrath—
to destroy the whole country.
like that of a great multitude!
Listen, an uproar among the kingdoms,
like nations massing together!
The Lord Almighty is mustering
an army for war.
They come from faraway lands,
from the ends of the heavens—
the Lord and the weapons of his wrath—
to destroy the whole country.
Wail, for the day of the Lord is near;
it will come like destruction from the Almighty.
Because of this, all hands will go limp,
every heart will melt with fear.
Terror will seize them,
pain and anguish will grip them;
they will writhe like a woman in labor.
They will look aghast at each other,
their faces aflame.
it will come like destruction from the Almighty.
Because of this, all hands will go limp,
every heart will melt with fear.
Terror will seize them,
pain and anguish will grip them;
they will writhe like a woman in labor.
They will look aghast at each other,
their faces aflame.
See, the day of the Lord is coming
—a cruel day, with wrath and fierce anger—
to make the land desolate
and destroy the sinners within it.
The stars of heaven and their constellations
will not show their light.
The rising sun will be darkened
and the moon will not give its light.
I will punish the world for its evil,
the wicked for their sins.
I will put an end to the arrogance of the haughty
and will humble the pride of the ruthless.
I will make people scarcer than pure gold,
more rare than the gold of Ophir.
Therefore I will make the heavens tremble;
and the earth will shake from its place
at the wrath of the Lord Almighty,
in the day of his burning anger.
Therefore I will make the heavens tremble;
and the earth will shake from its place
at the wrath of the Lord Almighty,
in the day of his burning anger.
Isaiah 21:1-10 A prophecy against the Desert by the Sea:
Like whirlwinds sweeping through the southland,
an invader comes from the desert,
from a land of terror.
an invader comes from the desert,
from a land of terror.
A dire vision has been shown to me:
The traitor betrays, the looter takes loot.
Elam, attack! Media, lay siege!
I will bring to an end all the groaning she caused.
The traitor betrays, the looter takes loot.
Elam, attack! Media, lay siege!
I will bring to an end all the groaning she caused.
At this my body is racked with pain,
pangs seize me, like those of a woman in labor;
I am staggered by what I hear,
I am bewildered by what I see.
My heart falters,
fear makes me tremble;
the twilight I longed for
has become a horror to me.
pangs seize me, like those of a woman in labor;
I am staggered by what I hear,
I am bewildered by what I see.
My heart falters,
fear makes me tremble;
the twilight I longed for
has become a horror to me.
They set the tables,
they spread the rugs,
they eat, they drink!
Get up, you officers,
oil the shields!
they spread the rugs,
they eat, they drink!
Get up, you officers,
oil the shields!
This is what the Lord says to me:
“Go, post a lookout
and have him report what he sees.
When he sees chariots
with teams of horses,
riders on donkeys
or riders on camels,
let him be alert,
fully alert.”
and have him report what he sees.
When he sees chariots
with teams of horses,
riders on donkeys
or riders on camels,
let him be alert,
fully alert.”
And the lookout shouted,
“Day after day, my lord, I stand on the watchtower;
every night I stay at my post.
Look, here comes a man in a chariot
with a team of horses.
And he gives back the answer:
‘Babylon has fallen, has fallen!
All the images of its gods
lie shattered on the ground!’”
every night I stay at my post.
Look, here comes a man in a chariot
with a team of horses.
And he gives back the answer:
‘Babylon has fallen, has fallen!
All the images of its gods
lie shattered on the ground!’”
My people who are crushed on the threshing floor,
I tell you what I have heard
from the Lord Almighty,
from the God of Israel.
I tell you what I have heard
from the Lord Almighty,
from the God of Israel.
Trumpets blown on the 7th day of Hanukkah/
New Moon
A trumpet was to be blown at the new moon and on Feast days. Esther was crowned queen in place of Vashti on the first day (new moon day) of the 10th month of Tivet, which later became the 7th day of Hanukkah, which is the 7th day of the second Feast of Tabernacles. I believe this is the day appointed for the blowing of the last trumpet.
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed." 1 Corinthians 15:52
For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. ` Thessalonians 4:16-17
THE LAMSPTAND
When
we think of Hanukkah, we think of the menorah. But did you
know that the menorah is also the symbol for the Church?
When the Apostle John was called to heaven in Revelation
1, he hears someone speaking in a loud voice, like a
trumpet (see Revelation 1:10). He sees Jesus walking among
the lampstands and he is told what the lampstands represent: "The
mystery of the seven stars that you saw in my right hand
and of the seven golden lampstands is this: The seven
stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches." Revelation 1:20. The lampstand is a piece of furniture found in the Tabernacle, and then the Temple. So, we can infer that John was translated into the heavenly Temple. And to bring things full circle, Hanukkah commemorates the rededication of the Temple.
There are 7 churches listed in Revelation 3-4. The 2 most noteable are the last 2 listed:
6. the church of Philadelphia (raptured, saved from the hour of testing that comes upon the whole world)
7. the church of Laodicea (lukewarm, spit out of God's mouth, wealthy - but spiritually poor - need to be disciplined and purified)
On each day of Hanukkah, one of the candlesticks is lit. Jesus tells us that the Church is the lampstand. The 6th church listed is Philadelphia. I believe it may represent the candle that is lit on the 6th day of Hanukkah. The 7th church listed is Laodicea. I believe it may represent the candle that is lit on the 7th day.
“To the angel of the church in Philadelphia write:
These
are the words of him who is holy and true, who
holds the key of David. What he opens no one can
shut, and what he shuts no one can open. I
know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an
open door that no one can shut. I know that you have
little strength, yet you have kept my word and have
not denied my name. I
will make those who are of the synagogue of Satan,
who claim to be Jews though they are not, but are
liars—I will make them come and fall down at your
feet and acknowledge that I have loved you. Since
you have kept my command to endure patiently, I
will also keep you from the hour of trial that
is going to come on the whole world to test the
inhabitants of the earth.
I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown. The
one who is victorious I will make a pillar in the
temple of my God. Never again will they leave it. I
will write on them the name of my God and the name
of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is
coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will
also write on them my new name. Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
“To the angel of the church in Laodicea write:
These
are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true
witness, the ruler of God’s creation. I
know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot.
I wish you were either one or the other! So, because
you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am
about to spit you out of my mouth. You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear,
so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve
to put on your eyes, so you can see.
Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent. Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me. (The
Lord said on the Feast of Dedication, aka
Hanukkah, "My sheep hear my voice"). To
the one who is victorious, I will give the right to
sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious
and sat down with my Father on his throne. Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”Could the Rapture take place after the 6th day of Hanukkah (January 1, 2014, on God's calendar), but before the 7th day (January 2, 2014)? The 6th church listed stands for those taken in the Rapture and the 7th church listed stands for those who are lukewarm and spit out of God's mouth.
THE OIL
Matthew 25:6-12 “And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!’ Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out. But the wise answered, saying, ‘No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’ And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut. “Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’
THE SIGNET RING
Haggai 2 is a description of when the Lord will shake the heavens and the earth. The last verse reads: “‘On
that day,’ declares the Lord Almighty, ‘I will take you, my
servant Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel,’ declares the Lord,
‘and I will make you like my signet ring, for I have chosen you,’ declares the Lord Almighty.” There
is another Scripture that talks about the “signet ring”.
In the story of Joseph, we see a slave in prison, a
foreigner, who in one day went from being at the lowest
possible place in the land of Egypt, to the ruler over
everything:Genesis 41: Then Pharaoh said to his servants, “Can we find a man like this, in whom is a divine spirit?” So Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Since God has informed you of all this, there is no one so discerning and wise as you are. You shall be over my house, and according to your command all my people shall do homage; only in the throne I will be greater than you.” Pharaoh said to Joseph, “See, I have set you over all the land of Egypt.” Then Pharaoh took off his signet ring from his hand and put it on Joseph’s hand, and clothed him in garments of fine linen and put the gold necklace around his neck. He had him ride in his second chariot; and they proclaimed before him, “Bow the knee!” And he set him over all the land of Egypt. Moreover, Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Though I am Pharaoh, yet without your permission no one shall raise his hand or foot in all the land of Egypt.”
A beautiful picture of what will happen to the Christians who are Raptured! We are given the signet ring of our Father, clothed in fine linen garments and given a gold necklace, or a crown, to wear as a symbol of our authority. We will rule and reign with Christ on the earth for 1000 years.
Joseph waited for 13 years from the time that God gave him the dreams until he was released from prison and he was given the signet ring. The Bride of Christ has also been waiting for 13 years since the true start of the New Millennium on the Gentile calendar, which was January 1, 2001. She is now ready to be given the signet ring of authority and crowned Queen to rule with King Jesus.
ENOCH AND THE RAPTURE
"Enoch walked with God; then he was no more, because God took him away." Genesis 5:24Enoch was translated to heaven because of his faith: "By faith Enoch was taken from this life, so that he did not experience death; he could not be found, because God had taken him away. For before he was taken, he was commended as one who pleased God. And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that he exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him." Hebrews 11:5-6
Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about them: “See, the Lord is coming with thousands upon thousands of his holy ones to judge everyone, and to convict all of them of all the ungodly acts they have committed in their ungodliness, and of all the defiant words ungodly sinners have spoken against him.” Jude 1:14-15
Enoch was the very first human to be "raptured". The name Enoch means "dedicated." It is derived from the same Hebrew root used for the name Hanukkah – also known as the Feast of Dedication.
His translation is viewed as a type for the Rapture. Is it possible then that his name provides a clue as to the timing of the Rapture?
FIRSTFRUITS
The
last possible date for the Jews to offer FIRSTFRUITS
to the Lord was during the Feast of Hanukkah. Revelation 14: Then I looked, and there before me was the Lamb, standing on Mount Zion, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his Father’s name written on their foreheads. And I heard a sound from heaven like the roar of rushing waters and like a loud peal of thunder. The sound I heard was like that of harpists playing their harps. And they sang a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders. No one could learn the song except the 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth. These are those who did not defile themselves with women, for they remained virgins. They follow the Lamb wherever he goes. They were purchased from among mankind and offered as firstfruits to God and the Lamb. No lie was found in their mouths; they are blameless.
According to rabbinic interpretation the duty of bringing first fruits was confined to the seven distinct species growing in Erez Israel, i.e., wheat, barley, grapes, figs, pomegranates, olive oil, and dates (“honey”). The fruits were given to the priests after the donor had recited the confession (Deut. 26; 1–11) acknowledging God as the one who redeemed the Israelites from the Egyptian bondage, and expressing gratitude to God who brought them to the Promised Land. The bikkurim were brought between Shavuot (hence its designation as Hag ha-Bikkurim—“the first fruits festival”) and Sukkot. The firstfruits could be brought as late as Hanukkah, but after Sukkot no declaration was made.
Mishna, Tractate Bikkurim 1:6
From the reaping [ie: from Shavuot] until the festival [ie: until Sukkot], he brings [the first fruits to the priest] and he recites [the traditional formula], but from the festival [of Sukkot] until Hanukkah he brings [the first fruits to the priest] but he does not recite [the traditional formula].

A sheaf of the new barley harvest (ʿomer) was offered on the second day of the Passover festival (Lev. 23:10–11, 15–16). According to the Mishnah (Bik. 1:3, 6, 9), in Second Temple times the pilgrimage to the Temple for the purpose of offering the first fruits could be undertaken anytime between Shavuot, in the late spring, and Sukkot, in the fall, but the festival of Shavuot was the first date for this offering. A rite notionally related to the offering of first fruits was the bringing of the fruit of trees during their fourth year of fruit bearing (Lev. 19:23–25). In both cases, an offering was required to release the fruit, as it were, for consumption by its owners. According to Leviticus 23:17, the offering of fresh grain was to be presented in the form of two loaves of baked, leavened bread.
My notes: So, we have 2 trees. One represents the tree that is cut down after 4 years because it did not bear fruit. The other tree represents those believers who are bearing fruit. Firstfruits from the fruit of trees were to be offered to the Lord during their fourth year.
FEAST OF DEDICATION
Jesus
walked in Solomon's porch at the feast of dedication: And
it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it
was winter. And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon's
porch [= temple hall with pillars?]. - John 10:22-23 The promise to the Church of Philadelphia also mentions pillars: Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God... - Rev 3:12
Isn't it amazing that Jachin - one of the of the 2 pillars in Solmon's temple - means "Yah establishes", and Hanukkah means "Establishing" (or dedication)? And the other pillar is named Boaz, the one who saves the Gentile bride?
Hanukkah is the rededication of the temple. At the RAPTURE our TEMPLES/bodies will be REDEDICATED to THE MOST HIGH when we are transformed into ETERNAL SPIRITUAL BODIES FREE FROM CORRUPTION.
THE RESURRECTION OF LAZARUS
The 7th day of Hanukkah MIGHT HAVE been the day when Lazarus
was resurrected from the dead. We see in John 10 that Jesus is in
Jerusalem at the Feast of Dedication, aka Hanukkah. He then goes to the
Jordan River, which would be a one-day walk from Jerusalem. If Jesus
left Jerusalem on around the 2nd day of Hanukkah, walked to the Jordan
River, then on the third day of Hanukkah received word that Lazarus was
sick, waited 2 more days, walked back to Bethany (one day walk), it is
possible that He would have resurrected Lazarus from the dead on the 7th
day of Hanukkah. The Bible is not clear about this, but it is very
interesting to consider the possibility that Lazarus may have been
resurrected right on the 7th day of Hanukkah as a foreshadow of what
would take place on a future 7th day of Hanukkah at the resurrection of
the dead.
There is a possible
clue from modern events that this may be correct. We all know that Jesus
wept when he reached Bethany and started to speak to Mary, Lazarus'
brother. And we also know that Mr. Obama seems to be imitating Jesus,
like when he rode into Jerusalem last year on a borrowed beast on the
10th of Nisan on the Jewish calendar. Well, guess what last year's news
headline read on the 7th day of Hanukkah on the Jewish calendar?
Obama Weeps Over Connecticut School Massacre
http://www.bet.com/news/national/2012/12/14/official-gunman-killed-in-conn-school-shooting.html
Do we once again have Mr. Obama trying to imitate Jesus on the same day of the Jewish year when Jesus wept?
HARPAZO
In John 10:22, we see Jesus at the Temple
walking in Solomon's Colonnade on the Feast of Dedication (Hanukkah).
This was also the future meeting place of the early Church:"And all the believers used to meet together in Solomon's Colonnade." Acts 5:12
It is during Hanukkah that Jesus tells the Jews that His sheep listen to His voice:
My sheep listen to My voice; I know them, and they follow Me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of My Father's hand. I and the Father are one." John 10:27-30
Please notice that the Greek word used in this passage for "snatch" is "harpazo" - the very word we use to describe the Rapture today.
For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up (HARPAZO) together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage one another with these words. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18)
The sun and moon will be darkened
Joel 3:15 - The sun and moon will be darkened, and the stars no longer shine.Joel 2: 10 - Before them the earth shakes, the heavens tremble, the sun and moon are darkened, and the stars no longer shine.
Isaiah 24:23 - The moon will be abashed, the sun ashamed; for the LORD Almighty will reign on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem, and before its elders, gloriously.
Isaiah 13:9-13 - Behold, the day of the Lord comes, cruel, with both wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate; and He will destroy its sinners from it. For the stars of heaven and their constellations will not give their light; the sun will be darkened in its going forth, and the moon will not cause its light to shine. “I will punish the world for its evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; I will halt the arrogance of the proud, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible. I will make a mortal more rare than fine gold, a man more than the golden wedge of Ophir. Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth will move out of her place, in the wrath of the Lord of hosts and in the day of His fierce anger. For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light; the sun shall be darkened in its going forth, and the moon shall not cause its light to shine.
On November 3, 2013, the sun was darkened and the moon did not give its light. Nov 3 was also when the clocks were set back in the US - another sign perhaps that the US is about to go backward in time when the sudden destruction takes place.
This eclipse was only the third of its kind since the first century. It was incredibly rare. It was both a total eclipse and a "ring" eclipse (wedding ring).

Revelation 18
After
this I saw another angel coming down from heaven. He had great
authority, and the earth was illuminated by his splendor. With a mighty
voice he shouted: “‘Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great!’
She has become a dwelling for demons
and a haunt for every impure spirit,
a haunt for every unclean bird,
a haunt for every unclean and detestable animal.
For all the nations have drunk
the maddening wine of her adulteries.
The kings of the earth committed adultery with her,
and the merchants of the earth grew rich from her excessive luxuries.”
Then I heard another voice from heaven say:
“‘Come out of her, my people,’
so that you will not share in her sins,
so that you will not receive any of her plagues;
for her sins are piled up to heaven,
and God has remembered her crimes.
Give back to her as she has given;
pay her back double for what she has done.
Pour her a double portion from her own cup.
Give her as much torment and grief
as the glory and luxury she gave herself.
In her heart she boasts,
‘I sit enthroned as queen.
I am not a widow;
I will never mourn.’
Therefore in one day her plagues will overtake her:
death, mourning and famine.
She will be consumed by fire,
for mighty is the Lord God who judges her.
“When the kings of the earth who committed adultery with her and shared her luxury see the smoke of her burning, they will weep and mourn over her. Terrified at her torment, they will stand far off and cry:
“‘Woe! Woe to you, great city,
you mighty city of Babylon!
In one hour your doom has come!’
“The merchants of the earth will weep and mourn over her because no one buys their cargoes anymore— cargoes of gold, silver, precious stones and pearls; fine linen, purple, silk and scarlet cloth; every sort of citron wood, and articles of every kind made of ivory, costly wood, bronze, iron and marble; cargoes of cinnamon and spice, of incense, myrrh and frankincense, of wine and olive oil, of fine flour and wheat; cattle and sheep; horses and carriages; and human beings sold as slaves.
“They will say, ‘The fruit you longed for is gone from you. All your luxury and splendor have vanished, never to be recovered.’ The merchants who sold these things and gained their wealth from her will stand far off, terrified at her torment. They will weep and mourn and cry out:
“‘Woe! Woe to you, great city,
dressed in fine linen, purple and scarlet,
and glittering with gold, precious stones and pearls!
In one hour such great wealth has been brought to ruin!’
“Every sea captain, and all who travel by ship, the sailors, and all who earn their living from the sea, will stand far off. When they see the smoke of her burning, they will exclaim, ‘Was there ever a city like this great city?’ They will throw dust on their heads, and with weeping and mourning cry out:
“‘Woe! Woe to you, great city,
where all who had ships on the sea
became rich through her wealth!
In one hour she has been brought to ruin!’
“Rejoice over her, you heavens!
Rejoice, you people of God!
Rejoice, apostles and prophets!
For God has judged her
with the judgment she imposed on you.”
Then a mighty angel picked up a boulder the size of a large millstone and threw it into the sea, and said:
“With such violence
the great city of Babylon will be thrown down,
never to be found again.
The music of harpists and musicians, pipers and trumpeters,
will never be heard in you again.
No worker of any trade
will ever be found in you again.
The sound of a millstone
will never be heard in you again.
The light of a lamp
will never shine in you again. The voice of bridegroom and bride
will never be heard in you again.
Your merchants were the world’s important people.
By your magic spell all the nations were led astray.
In her was found the blood of prophets and of God’s holy people,
of all who have been slaughtered on the earth.”
The voice of the bride and bridegroom shall be heard in Heaven. Millstones are stones used for grinding wheat or other grains. The millstone is thrown in the sea, representing, once again, Satan being hurled to the earth, the dragon, who is unable to touch the Bride of Christ as she is taken away on eagles' wings to a place prepared for her "in the desert". The wheat is then ground (tribulation time for those left-behind) until they are pure and spotless. The mountain was thrown into the sea on this day also, as Jesus clearly points us to in Matthew 21.
1. Jesus rode into Jerusalem and the people cried, "Hosanna, blessed is He who comes in the Name of the Lord!" and waved palm branches. This is exactly what took place on the 25th day of Kislev 200 years earlier when Judas Maccabees rode into Jerusalem after 3 years of fighting the evil Antiochus IV's army. I believe it could symbolize the Rapture of the Church, when we see the Lord and cry out, "Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the Name of the Lord!" This could either be pointing us to the seventh day of Hanukkah, as a second Tabernacles feast, or could be pointing us to Kislev 25.
2. The next day, Jesus cursed the fig tree. This represents Israel and America the Beautiful being cut down (remember Devil's Tower, America's first national monument, the dream in Daniel 4, and the parable of the fig tree cut down after 4 years without bearing fruit). That very day, the fig tree withered and would never produce fruit again.
3. He then mentioned a "mountain being cast into the sea". This is a clear reference to the second trumpet judgment when it says John saw something like a mountain being cast into the sea. Right before this, he saw meteorites and fireballs hitting the earth during the first trumpet judgment, a clear reference to Sodom and Gomorrah.
4. Jesus then told them the same day: "Therefore I tell you that the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people who will produce its fruit." Jesus was clearly telling the Jews that He was taking away the Kingdom from them and giving it to the Gentiles, who would produce its fruit. So also, God is taking away the rulership of the earth by the leaders of the nations (Mr. Obama in particular), and giving rulership of the earth to His Bride, who have produced fruit.
Judges 9 - a foreshadow of what is to come
Gideon
had 70 sons by his wives and one illegitimate son by one of his
slaves. The slave's son was named Abimilek and he put to death 69 of
the legitimate sons after Gideon died, but the youngest son escaped.
Abimilek ruled for 3 years. Sometime after the three years were
finished, "civil war" breaks out between his army and another faction
who wants to bring Abimilek down. In the end, Abimilek BURNS THEIR CITY and then a MILLSTONE is dropped on his head and his skull is cracked and he dies. Here are some interesting verses and my own observations from Judges 9:
1. "They gave him seventy shekels of silver from the temple of Baal-Berith, and Abimelek used it to hire reckless scoundrels, who became his followers. He went to his father’s home in Ophrah and on one stone murdered his seventy brothers, the sons of Jerub-Baal (Gideon). But Jotham, the youngest son of Jerub-Baal, escaped by hiding. Then all the citizens of Shechem and Beth Millo gathered beside the great tree at the pillar in Shechem to crown Abimelek king."
My observation: Obama is also surrounded also by "reckless scoundrels" following him. Abimilek was the only illegitimate son, the son of the "slave woman", like Hagar's son, not the son of promise, like Sarah's son. He killed 69 of his 70 half-brothers. I believe that this is foreshadowing the 69 weeks of Daniel 9 (already gone, or having died) and the one brother (one week) still remains when the story begins. Then after three years into this one week (or 7-year period), all of these events begin to happen.
2. “But the olive tree answered, ‘Should I give up my oil, by which both gods and humans are honored, to hold sway over the trees?’
“Next, the trees said to the fig tree, ‘Come and be our king.’
“But the fig tree replied, ‘Should I give up my fruit, so good and sweet, to hold sway over the trees?’
“Then the trees said to the vine, ‘Come and be our king.’
“But the vine answered, ‘Should I give up my wine, which cheers both gods and humans, to hold sway over the trees?’
“Finally all the trees said to the thornbush, ‘Come and be our king.’
“The thornbush said to the trees, ‘If you really want to anoint me king over you, come and take refuge in my shade; but if not, then let fire come out of the thornbush and consume the cedars of Lebanon!’
My observation: Interesting that the olive tree, fig tree and cedars of Lebanon (remember the Harbinger) are all mentioned in this story.
3. "After Abimelek had governed Israel three years, God stirred up animosity between Abimelek and the citizens of Shechem so that they acted treacherously against Abimelek...After they had gone out into the fields and gathered the grapes and trodden them, they held a festival in the temple of their god. While they were eating and drinking, they cursed Abimelek."
My observation: 3 years after Obama is nominated on the 7th day of Tabernacles for the Nobel Peace Prize, we reach the 7th day of the Feast of Tabernacles in 2012. The festival when the grape harvest is brought in. On this day, Mr. Obama is chosen again to be the US President. This is when the people decided to come against Abimelek, after three years. Sometime after the three years, they attack. And Abimelek fights back.
4. "All that day Abimelek pressed his attack against the city until he had captured it and killed its people. Then he destroyed the city and scattered salt over it."
My observation: Reminder of Lot, city destroyed, wife turns to a pillar of salt.
5. "He took an ax and cut off some branches, which he lifted to his shoulders. He ordered the men with him, “Quick! Do what you have seen me do!” So all the men cut branches and followed Abimelek. They piled them against the stronghold and set it on fire with the people still inside. So all the people in the tower of Shechem, about a thousand men and women, also died."
My observations:
a. An ax cuts off the branches of the tree... The ax is already at the root of the trees, and every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire... He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit...So he said to the man who took care of the vineyard, 'For three years now I've been coming to look for fruit on this fig tree and haven't found any. Cut it down! Why should it use up the soil?'... So every tree that does not produce good fruit is chopped down and thrown into the fire...The tree you saw, which grew large and strong, with its top touching the sky, visible to the whole earth, with beautiful leaves and abundant fruit, providing food for all, giving shelter to the wild animals, and having nesting places in its branches for the birds— Your Majesty saw a holy one, a messenger, coming down from heaven and saying, ‘Cut down the tree and destroy it, but leave the stump, bound with iron and bronze, in the grass of the field, while its roots remain in the ground.'
b. They burned the city. Joshua 6: "Then they burned the whole city and everything in it" Parable of Wedding Banquet: “But they paid no attention and went off -- one to his field, another to his business. The rest seized his servants, mistreated them and killed them. The king was enraged. He sent his army and destroyed those murderers and burned their city."
c. 1000 men and women died. When Antiochus IV (a type of the Antichrist) came in 168 BC, he killed 1000 men, women and children on the Sabbath. Once again we he have a type of Antichrist, Abimelek, killing 1000 men and women. It's interesting that we just had 1000 people die in a factory collapse in Bangladesh. After 17 days, a woman was rescued who was near a "prayer closet". These events are symbolic of what took place and what is about to take place. The Bride of Christ will be rescued. Those who make up the Bride of Christ are those who spend time in the "prayer closet" with their Bridegroom. The 1000 people killed points us back to the abomination of Antiochus IV, when the Jews had to flee into the mountains for 3 years and 1000 men, women and children were killed on the Sabbath. It also points us back to the story of Abimelek in the Bible, who killed 1000 people in a tower. Immediately after this event, a millstone is dropped on his head and he dies, symbolizing the millstone that is about to be dropped on America, bringing about her destruction.
6. “But as he approached the entrance to the tower to set it on fire, a woman dropped an upper millstone on his head and cracked his skull.”
My observations:
- Then a mighty angel picked up a boulder the size of a large millstone and threw it into the sea, and said: "With such violence the great city of Babylon will be thrown down, never to be found again. Revelation 18:21
- One of the heads of the beast seemed to have had a fatal wound. Revelation 13:3
Judges 14 - a foreshadow of what is to come
Some
time later, when he (Samson) went back to marry her, he turned aside
to look at the lion’s carcass, and in it he saw a swarm of bees and
some honey. He scooped out the honey with his hands and ate as he went
along. When he rejoined his parents, he gave them some, and they too
ate it. But he did not tell them that he had taken the honey from the
lion’s carcass. Now his father went down to see the woman. And there Samson held a feast, as was customary for young men. When the people saw him, they chose thirty men to be his companions.
“Let me tell you a riddle,” Samson said to them. “If you can give me the answer within the seven days of the feast, I will give you thirty linen garments and thirty sets of clothes. If you can’t tell me the answer, you must give me thirty linen garments and thirty sets of clothes.”
“Tell us your riddle,” they said. “Let’s hear it.”
He replied,
“Out of the eater, something to eat;
out of the strong, something sweet.”
For three days they could not give the answer.
On the fourth day, they said to Samson’s wife, “Coax your husband into explaining the riddle for us, or we will burn you and your father’s household to death. Did you invite us here to steal our property?”
Then Samson’s wife threw herself on him, sobbing, “You hate me! You don’t really love me. You’ve given my people a riddle, but you haven’t told me the answer.”
“I haven’t even explained it to my father or mother,” he replied, “so why should I explain it to you?” She cried the whole seven days of the feast. So on the seventh day he finally told her, because she continued to press him. She in turn explained the riddle to her people.
Before sunset on the seventh day the men of the town said to him,
“What is sweeter than honey?
What is stronger than a lion?”
Samson said to them,
“If you had not plowed with my heifer,
you would not have solved my riddle.”
Then the Spirit of the Lord came powerfully upon him. He went down to Ashkelon, struck down thirty of their men, stripped them of everything and gave their clothes to those who had explained the riddle. Burning with anger, he returned to his father’s home. And Samson’s wife was given to one of his companions who had attended him at the feast. Later on, at the time of wheat harvest, Samson took a young goat and went to visit his wife.
OK, so what does Samson's marriage to his first wife have to do with the Rapture? Well, first of all we can see that the wedding feast was 7 days long and the story talks about the wheat harvest. The Feast of Tabernacles is the end of the wheat harvest. Just as Queen Vashti refused King Xerxes on the 7th day of a Feast, so Samson's wife BETRAYED him on the 7th day of their wedding feast. Then, she is rejected by Samson and given to someone else, just like Queen Vashti was.
We can also see that linen garments were given to the people by Samson on the 7th day of the Feast. Revelation 19:8 - Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear." (Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of the saints.)
How many linen garments were given? THIRTY. The same amount of SILVER that Judas received to BETRAY JESUS. This story is foreshadowing the BETRAYAL by Judas and the Jewish nation of their Messiah. It is also foreshadowing the BETRAYAL and REJECTION of Israel, America, and the world on the 7th day of the wedding Feast (7th day of Tabernacles), just as Samson rejected his wife who had betrayed him on the 7th day of the Feast.
I believe that Israel (as the Jewish nation that represented God to the world) rejected their Messiah. They betrayed Him. They asked for a murderer over their own Messiah. Samson's wife also betrayed her husband. America (the Gentile nation that represented God to the world) has also betrayed the Lord and rejected Him. Both of these nations are about to come under His judgment.
7-day Jewish Wedding
Matthew
25 - “At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who
took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were
foolish and five were wise. The foolish ones took their lamps but did
not take any oil with them. The wise ones, however, took oil in jars
along with their lamps. The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and
they all became drowsy and fell asleep. At midnight the cry rang out:
‘Here’s the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!’ Then all the virgins woke
up and trimmed their lamps. The foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give
us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.’ ‘No,’ they replied,
‘there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who
sell oil and buy some for yourselves.’ But while they were on their way
to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready
went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut. Later
the others also came. ‘Lord, Lord,’ they said, ‘open the door for us!’
But he replied, ‘Truly I tell you, I don’t know you.’ Therefore keep
watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.A traditional Jewish wedding: The father said, “Son, go get your bride!” The groom would dress in his finery, as much like a king as possible, and call for his close friends. They would leave his father’s house and begin a torchlight procession to the home of the bride. She would have no idea he was coming. Bystanders would begin to shout, “Behold, the bridegroom cometh!” as they realized a groom was headed for his bride. Others would pass on the good news until it came to the home of the bride. This gave her a few minutes to dress and gather her things and say good-bye to her family. Her near-by bridesmaids would come and help and be ready to go with her to the wedding. A great procession would then be ready to join the groom and his party. Often there were musicians, singers and dancers and other performers doing acts.” The voice of joy, the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the voice of them that shall say, praise the Lord of hosts for the Lord is good; for His mercy endureth forever.” Jeremiah 33:11.
The bride would be dressed as a queen often with family heirlooms, her hair often braided with gold and jewels. She would be wearing an ornate head dress and have a veil over her face. She would be carried on a sudan chair, riding on an animal, or in some cases on foot. Torches were carried to light the way (remember the old phrase – “carrying the torch”) Great crowds would gather on balconies, the garden walls, the flat roofs of the houses and along the roads to watch the spectacle.
When the procession arrived at the father’s house, they were met by a large gathering of friends and relatives who had heard about the coming events. The celebration was given by the father of the groom, unlike today when the bride’s family is in charge. Many times after the bridal party had entered the father’s house, the doors were shut and no one else was permitted to enter in. In most instances, the groom’s family provided special wedding garments for the guests and these had to be worn. There was no set ceremony but a great party was going on with feasting and drinking. After a time of greeting to all the people, the bride and groom were shown to a special bridal chamber covered by a beautiful canopy called a “chuppah”. The couple would enter alone for their first kiss and to enter into physical union for the first time, fulfilling the covenant they had made so long before. The ‘best man’ stood outside the door, guarding against intruders and waiting for the groom to tell him of the consummation of the marriage.
The friend of the bridegroom is mentioned in John 3:29 where John was telling the people that he was sent before Him; the ‘friend of the bridegroom”. “He that hath the bride is the bridegroom; but the friend of the bridegroom which standeth and heareth him rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom’s voice: thus my joy is fulfilled.”
After the announcement, a seven day period of festivities would begin. During this time, the bride would stay in the bridal chamber – hidden away. At the end of the seventh day, the groom would escort the bride out with her veil removed so every one could see her face and they would attend the actual wedding supper. The 7th day of Hanukkah on God's calendar, January 2, 2014, was to have been the 7th day of the wedding, the day when the Bride was to be revealed to the world. This was the "Gentile Feast of Trumpets".
Acts 2, Joel 2, Isaiah 66, 2 Kings 2
Acts 2:20 - "The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord." Isaiah 13:10 - "The stars of heaven and their constellations will not show their light. The rising sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light." Isaiah 24:23 - "The moon will be dismayed, the sun ashamed;
for the LORD Almighty will reign on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem, and
before its elders--with great glory." Joel 2:10 - "Before them the earth
shakes, the heavens tremble, the sun and moon are darkened, and the stars no longer shine." Amos 8:9 - ""In that day," declares the Sovereign LORD, "I will make the sun go down at noon and darken the earth in broad daylight." Revelation 6 - "I watched as he opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red,
and the stars in the sky fell to earth, as figs drop from a fig tree
when shaken by a strong wind. The heavens receded like a scroll being
rolled up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place.
Then the kings of the earth, the princes, the generals, the rich, the
mighty, and everyone else, both slave and free, hid in caves and among
the rocks of the mountains. They called to the mountains and the rocks,
“Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and
from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of their wrath has come,
and who can withstand it?”"Joel 2 is a description of the Day of the Lord, the Rapture, and the "alien invasion" of locusts. The sun is darkened and moon turned to blood BEFORE this day.
Blow the trumpet in Zion; sound the alarm on my holy hill.
Let all who live in the land tremble,
for the day of the Lord is coming.
It is close at hand—
a day of darkness and gloom,
a day of clouds and blackness.
Like dawn spreading across the mountains
a large and mighty army comes,
such as never was in ancient times
nor ever will be in ages to come.
Before them fire devours,
behind them a flame blazes.
Before them the land is like the garden of Eden,
behind them, a desert waste—
nothing escapes them.
They have the appearance of horses;
they gallop along like cavalry.
With a noise like that of chariots
they leap over the mountaintops,
like a crackling fire consuming stubble,
like a mighty army drawn up for battle.
At the sight of them, nations are in anguish;
every face turns pale.
They charge like warriors;
they scale walls like soldiers.
They all march in line,
not swerving from their course.
They do not jostle each other;
each marches straight ahead.
They plunge through defenses
without breaking ranks.
They rush upon the city;
they run along the wall.
They climb into the houses;
like thieves they enter through the windows.
Before them the earth shakes, the heavens tremble, the sun and moon are darkened,
and the stars no longer shine.
The Lord thunders
at the head of his army;
his forces are beyond number,
and mighty is the army that obeys his command.
The day of the Lord is great;
it is dreadful.
Who can endure it?
“Even now,” declares the Lord,
“return to me with all your heart,
with fasting and weeping and mourning.”
Rend your heart and not your garments.
Return to the Lord your God,
for he is gracious and compassionate,
slow to anger and abounding in love,
and he relents from sending calamity.
Who knows? He may turn and relent
and leave behind a blessing—
grain offerings and drink offerings
for the Lord your God.
Blow the trumpet in Zion,
declare a holy fast,
call a sacred assembly.
Gather the people,
consecrate the assembly;
bring together the elders,
gather the children,
those nursing at the breast. Let the bridegroom leave his room
and the bride her chamber (7th day of the Wedding).
Let the priests, who minister before the Lord,
weep between the portico and the altar.
Let them say, “Spare your people, Lord.
Do not make your inheritance an object of scorn,
a byword among the nations.
Why should they say among the peoples,
‘Where is their God?’”
I will show wonders in the heavens
and on the earth,
blood and fire and billows of smoke. The sun will be turned to darkness
and the moon to blood
before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.
And everyone who calls
on the name of the Lord will be saved;
for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem
there will be deliverance,
as the Lord has said,
even among the survivors
whom the Lord calls.
Isaiah 66:
See, the Lord is coming with fire,
and his chariots are like a whirlwind;
he will bring down his anger with fury,
and his rebuke with flames of fire.
For with fire and with his sword
the Lord will execute judgment on all people,
and many will be those slain by the Lord.
“Those who consecrate and purify themselves to go into the gardens, following one who is among those who eat the flesh of pigs, rats and other unclean things—they will meet their end together with the one they follow,” declares the Lord.
“And I, because of what they have planned and done, am about to come and gather the people of all nations and languages, and they will come and see my glory.
“I will set a sign among them, and I will send some of those who survive to the nations—to Tarshish, to the Libyans and Lydians (famous as archers), to Tubal and Greece, and to the distant islands that have not heard of my fame or seen my glory. They will proclaim my glory among the nations.
2 Kings 2 -
“Let me inherit a double portion of your spirit,” Elisha replied.
“You have asked a difficult thing,” Elijah said, “yet if you see me when I am taken from you, it will be yours—otherwise, it will not.”
As they were walking along and talking together, suddenly a chariot of fire and horses of fire appeared and separated the two of them, and Elijah went up to heaven in a whirlwind. Elisha saw this and cried out, “My father! My father! The chariots and horsemen of Israel!” And Elisha saw him no more. Then he took hold of his garment and tore it in two.
Psalm 19: The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
Day after day they pour forth speech;
night after night they reveal knowledge.
They have no speech, they use no words;
no sound is heard from them.
Yet their voice goes out into all the earth,
their words to the ends of the world.
In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun.
It is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber,
like a champion rejoicing to run his course.
Joel 2:16 – “Let the bridegroom leave his room
and the bride her chamber.”
In a traditional Jewish Wedding, the Bride and Bridegroom emerge from the wedding chamber on the 7th day and the veil is then removed as the Bride is presented to the Father of the Bridegroom and her identity is revealed to the world.
46 years - Rebuilding of the Temple
John
2 - "Jesus answered them, 'Destroy this temple, and I will raise it
again in three days.' They replied, 'It has taken forty-six years to
build this temple, and you are going to raise it in three days?' But
the temple he had spoken of was his body." WE are the body of Christ,
His third temple. WE are the silver and the gold that He is using to build His temple, His dwelling place.
It took 46 years to build the second Temple. This is an important
sign for us in the Scriptures. On June 7, 1967, Israel recaptured
Jerusalem. 46 years from this event ended on June 7, 2013. We can
expect the Lord to "raise His temple" now, taking the silver and the
gold with Him during the true Feast of Hanukkah on God's calendar (Dec
26, 2013, to January 2, 2014).
49 years - Day of Atonement
Leviticus 25: Count off seven sabbath years—seven times seven years—so that the seven sabbath years amount to a period of forty-nine years. Then have the trumpet sounded everywhere on the tenth day of the seventh month; on the Day of Atonement sound the trumpet throughout your land. Consecrate the fiftieth year and proclaim liberty throughout the land to all its inhabitants.
It shall be a jubilee for you; each of you is to return to your family
property and to your own clan. The fiftieth year shall be a jubilee
for you; do not sow and do not reap what grows of itself or harvest the
untended vines. For it is a jubilee and is to be holy for you; eat
only what is taken directly from the fields. In this Year of Jubilee
everyone is to return to their own property. The last time that Israel was given back land that rightfully belonged to her, was on June 7, 1967. 49 years later would be the Day of Atonement in 2016, the end of the 1260 days counting from May 2, 2013, the true 7th day of Unleavened Bread and appointed time for the firstfruits Rapture (but the Bridegroom is delayed - see Matthew 25 and Revelation 10).
The Threshing Floor
Isaiah 21:9-10 Look, here comes a man in a chariot
with a team of horses.
And he gives back the answer:
‘Babylon has fallen, has fallen!
All the images of its gods
lie shattered on the ground!’”
My people who are crushed on the threshing floor,
I tell you what I have heard
from the Lord Almighty,
from the God of Israel.
Ruth 3:2 Is not Boaz, with whose servant girls you have been, a kinsman of ours? Tonight he will be winnowing barley on the threshing floor.
Jeremiah 51:
33 This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says:
“Daughter Babylon is like a threshing floor
at the time it is trampled;
the time to harvest her will soon come.” 37 Babylon will be a heap of ruins,
a haunt of jackals,
an object of horror and scorn,
a place where no one lives. 38 Her people all roar like young lions,
they growl like lion cubs. 39 But while they are aroused,
I will set out a feast for them
and make them drunk,
so that they shout with laughter—
then sleep forever and not awake,”
declares the Lord. 40 “I will bring them down
like lambs to the slaughter,
like rams and goats.
41 “How Sheshak will be captured,
the boast of the whole earth seized!
How desolate Babylon will be
among the nations! 42 The sea will rise over Babylon;
its roaring waves will cover her. 43 Her towns will be desolate (abomination causes the desolation),
a dry and desert land,
a land where no one lives,
through which no one travels.
Notice in both chapters (Isaiah 21 and Jeremiah 51), when talking about the fall of Babylon, the threshing floor is mentioned. The threshing floor is also mentioned in Ruth, when Boaz is threshing barley and she lies at his feet. The next day, he became her Kinsman Redeemer.
Jeremiah also mentions here that the SEA WILL RISE, again a remembrance of when the Israelites crossed the Red Sea and the sea covered the enemies of God on the 7th day of Unleavened Bread, which is the mirror image of the 7th day of Tabernacles.
The pure virgins who go into the gardens…
Revelation
14: Then I looked, and there before me was the Lamb, standing on Mount
Zion, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his Father’s name
written on their foreheads. And I heard a sound from heaven like the ROAR OF RUSHING WATERS AND LIKE A LOUD PEAL OF THUNDER.
The sound I heard was like that of harpists playing their harps. And
they sang a new song before the throne and before the four living
creatures and the elders. No one could learn the song except the 144,000
who had been REDEEMED FROM THE EARTH. These are those who DID NOT DEFILE THEMSELVES with women, for they remained VIRGINS. They follow the Lamb wherever he goes. They were purchased from among mankind and offered as FIRSTFRUITS to God and the Lamb. No lie was found in their mouths; they are WITHOUT BLEMISH.Esther 2:17 "The king loved Esther more than all the women, and she found favor and kindness with him more than all the virgins, so that he set the royal crown on her head and made her queen instead of Vashti."
Genesis 6:8 "But Noah found favor in the eyes of the LORD."
Psalm 77: The waters saw you, God, the waters saw you and writhed; the very depths were convulsed. The clouds poured down water, the heavens resounded with thunder; your arrows flashed back and forth. Your thunder was heard in the whirlwind, your lightning lit up the world; the earth trembled and quaked. Your path led through the sea, your way through the mighty waters, though your footprints were not seen. You led your people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.
Isaiah 66: See, the Lord is coming with fire, and his chariots are like a whirlwind; he will bring down his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire. For with fire and with his sword the Lord will execute judgment on all people, and many will be those slain by the Lord.
Biblical/Historical Events that took place on the
7th day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread:
The Israelites crossed the Red Sea
"He that believes in Me shall NEVER walk
in darkness, but shall have the light of life." The Israelites started
to cross the Red Sea at night, and walked "in the light" throughout
the night, while the Egyptians were in total darkness and could see
nothing. This happened on the 7th day of Unleavened Bread. The Sudden Destruction of the Egyptians after the Israelites crossed over into the DESERT happened on the 7th day of Unleavened Bread. We are given wings and taken to the DESERT to a "place prepared for us" for 1260 days. Jesus said, "I go to prepare a place for you so that where I am, you may be also."
'You yourselves have seen what I did to Egypt, and how I carried you on eagles' wings and brought you to myself." Exodus 19:4
"The woman was given the two wings of a great eagle, so that she might fly to the place prepared for her in the wilderness, where she would be taken care of for a time, times and half a time, out of the serpent’s reach." Revelation 12:14
"And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am." John 14:3
Peter's miraculous escape from prison
Acts 12:1-11 It was about this time that King Herod arrested some
who belonged to the church, intending to persecute them. He had James,
the brother of John, put to death with the sword. When he saw that
this met with approval among the Jews, he proceeded to seize Peter
also. This happened during the Festival of Unleavened Bread.
After arresting him, he put him in prison, handing him over to be
guarded by four squads of four soldiers each. Herod intended to bring
him out for public trial after the Passover. So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him.
The night before Herod was to bring him to trial, Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains, and sentries stood guard at the entrance. Suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared and a light shone in the cell. He struck Peter on the side and woke him up. “Quick, get up!” he said, and the chains fell off Peter’s wrists.
Then the angel said to him, “Put on your clothes and sandals.” And Peter did so. “Wrap your cloak around you and follow me,” the angel told him. Peter followed him out of the prison, but he had no idea that what the angel was doing was really happening; he thought he was seeing a vision. They passed the first and second guards and came to the iron gate leading to the city. It opened for them by itself, and they went through it. When they had walked the length of one street, suddenly the angel left him.
Then Peter came to himself and said, “Now I know without a doubt that the Lord has sent his angel and rescued me from Herod’s clutches and from everything the Jewish people were hoping would happen.”
Other versions say: "And when Peter had come to himself, he said, Now I know of a surety, that the Lord has sent his angel, and has delivered me out of the hand of Herod, and from all the expectation of the people of the Jews."
Exodus 14:13-14: Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”
Luke 21:36: “Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man."
Peter ESCAPED from prison on the 7th day of the Passover/Unleavened Bread. Herod was set to kill him on the day after the Feast of Unleavened Bread ended, but Peter miraculously escaped from prison when an angel came to rescue him. We are also living in a “prison” on earth, waiting for our redemption, longing to be with Jesus in our true heavenly home. We are strangers on the earth, deeply desiring to be set free to be with our Master and precious Savior. The angels are “harvesters” at the end of the age. They are the ones who take us to be with Jesus, just as they took Lot out of Sodom and just as they brought Peter out of prison. If the angels had not taken Lot out or rescued Peter, they would certainly have been killed. But just in time, they were brought out of the destruction that was coming, and brought to a place of safety.
The walls of Jericho fell
The Sudden Destruction of Jericho took place on the 7th day of Unleavened Bread. The Israelites began to take possession of their Promised Land when the walls of Jericho fell and every man ASCENDED UP at the sound of the last trumpet. The Hebrew word there is “alah” and it can mean the following: to go up, ascend, climb, depart, go up over, rise, to come up (before God), to be taken up, be brought up, be taken away, to be exalted, to bring up, cause to ascend or climb, cause to go up, take away, to offer, bring up (of gifts), to be carried away, be led up, to be taken up into, to be offered
And ye shall compass the city, all ye men of war; and go round about the city once. Thus shalt thou do SIX DAYS. And seven priests shall bear before the ark (of the covenant) seven trumpets of ram’s horns: and the SEVENTH DAY ye shall compass the city seven times, and the priests shall blow with the trumpets. And it shall come to pass, that when they make a long blast with the ram’s horn, and WHEN YE HEAR THE SOUND OF THE TRUMPET, all the people shall SHOUT WITH A GREAT SHOUT; and the wall of the city shall fall down flat, and the people shall ASCEND UP every man straight before him” (Joshua 6:3-5).
And they utterly destroyed ALL that was in the city, both man and woman, young and old, and ox, and sheep, and ass, with the edge of the sword … And they BURNT the city with FIRE, and ALL that was therein” (Joshua 6:21-24).
Jesus spoke to them again in parables, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a king who prepared a wedding banquet for his son.
Matthew 22:1-7
1 Corinthians 15:52 “In a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the LAST TRUMPET. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.”
In a Jewish wedding, the Bride will walk around the groom 7 times, again, a reenactment of the Battle of Jericho that took place on the 7th day of Unleavened Bread. God miraculously SAVED only “one house” of people out of the Jericho before its destruction. This heralds the “rapturous event of the righteous” of Christ’s house. “Only Rahab the harlot shall live, she and ALL that are with her in her HOUSE” (Joshua 6:16).
The Silver is Mine and the Gold is Mine
The Lord spoke to Haggai on the 7th day of Tabernacles that the silver and gold are HIS. In Zechariah 6, we see that the silver and gold make the crowns that are set upon the head of Christ. And 2 Timothy explains that the silver and gold represent those who are instruments for special purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work.WE ARE THE SILVER AND THE GOLD. We belong to Christ. He is building His temple, His body, made of the chosen silver and gold, those who have been made holy and are prepared to do any good work.
Haggai 2: On the twenty-first day of the seventh month (7th day of Tabernacles), the word of the Lord came through the prophet Haggai: “Speak to Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, to Joshua son of Jozadak, the high priest, and to the remnant of the people. Ask them, ‘Who of you is left who saw this house in its former glory? How does it look to you now? Does it not seem to you like nothing? But now be strong, Zerubbabel,’ declares the Lord. ‘Be strong, Joshua son of Jozadak, the high priest. Be strong, all you people of the land,’ declares the Lord, ‘and work. For I am with you,’ declares the Lord Almighty. ‘This is what I covenanted with you when you came out of Egypt. And my Spirit remains among you. Do not fear.’ “This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘In a little while I will once more shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land. I will shake all nations, and what is desired by all nations will come, and I will fill this house with glory,’ says the Lord Almighty. ‘The silver is mine and the gold is mine,’ declares the Lord Almighty.
Joshua 6: On the seventh day, they got up at daybreak and marched around the city seven times in the same manner, except that on that day they circled the city seven times. The seventh time around, when the priests sounded the trumpet blast, Joshua commanded the army, “Shout! For the Lord has given you the city! The city and all that is in it are to be devoted to the Lord. Only Rahab the prostitute and all who are with her in her house shall be spared, because she hid the spies we sent. But keep away from the devoted things, so that you will not bring about your own destruction by taking any of them. Otherwise you will make the camp of Israel liable to destruction and bring trouble on it. All the silver and gold and the articles of bronze and iron are sacred to the Lord and must go into his treasury.”
Then they burned the whole city and everything in it, but they put the silver and gold and the articles of bronze and iron into the treasury of the Lord’s house.
Zecheriah 6: I looked up again, and there before me were four chariots coming out from between two mountains—mountains of bronze. The first chariot had red horses, the second black, the third white, and the fourth dappled—all of them powerful. I asked the angel who was speaking to me, “What are these, my lord?”
The angel answered me, “These are the four spirits of heaven, going out from standing in the presence of the Lord of the whole world. The one with the black horses is going toward the north country, the one with the white horses toward the west, and the one with the dappled horses toward the south.”
When the powerful horses went out, they were straining to go throughout the earth. And he said, “Go throughout the earth!” So they went throughout the earth.
Then he called to me, “Look, those going toward the north country have given my Spirit rest in the land of the north.”
The word of the Lord came to me: “Take silver and gold from the exiles Heldai, Tobijah and Jedaiah, who have arrived from Babylon. Go the same day to the house of Josiah son of Zephaniah. Take the silver and gold and make a crown, and set it on the head of the high priest, Joshua son of Jozadak. Tell him this is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘Here is the man whose name is the Branch, and he will branch out from his place and build the temple of the Lord. It is he who will build the temple of the Lord, and he will be clothed with majesty and will sit and rule on his throne. And he will be a priest on his throne. And there will be harmony between the two.’ The crown will be given to Heldai, Tobijah, Jedaiah and Hen son of Zephaniah as a memorial in the temple of the Lord. Those who are far away will come and help to build the temple of the Lord, and you will know that the Lord Almighty has sent me to you. This will happen if you diligently obey the Lord your God.”
Revelation 19:12
His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns; and He had a name written, that no man knew, but He Himself.
2 Timothy 2:
Remember Jesus Christ, raised from the dead, descended from David. This is my gospel, for which I am suffering even to the point of being chained like a criminal. But God’s word is not chained... In a large house there are articles not only of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay; some are for special purposes and some for common use. Those who cleanse themselves from the latter will be instruments for special purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work.
2 Chronicles 5:1-3 “When all the work Solomon had done for the temple of the Lord was finished, he brought in the things his father David had dedicated—the silver and gold and all the furnishings—and he placed them in the treasuries of God’s temple. Then Solomon summoned to Jerusalem the elders of Israel, all the heads of the tribes and the chiefs of the Israelite families, to bring up the ark of the Lord’s covenant from Zion, the City of David. And all the Israelites came together to the king at the time of the festival in the seventh month.”
The silver and gold were first brought into the Lord’s treasury on the 7th day of Unleavened Bread, the mirror image of the 7th day of Tabernacles. They were then dedicated to the Lord at the time of the Feast of Tabernacles when the first temple was dedicated to the Lord. We are the third temple that Christ is building. He destroyed the first and second temple. He does not want to live in a temple built by human hands. He wants to reside within us. We are His body, His temple, the place where His glory dwells.
The 7th Day of the Feast of Tabernacles
Below is a study about how the Bible points to the last day of the Feast of Tabernacles as the time of the Rapture. There is no Festival that points as clearly to the Rapture of the Bride of Christ as the 7th
day of Tabernacles (remember that Hanukkah is the second Feast of
Tabernacles that started because the temple was defiled during the Feast
of Tabernacles). Because Hanukkah is a
second Feast of Tabernacles, everything that would happen during the
Feast of Tabernacles now also applies to the Feast of Hanukkah. It was on the 7th day of the Feast of Tabernacles that the Jewish people would start to take down their tents and go to their permanent homes. Paul
tells us in 2 Corinthians 5: “For we know that if the earthly tent we
live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in
heaven, not built by human hands.” It was on the 7th
day of a Jewish wedding that the Bride’s veil would be removed and her
identity revealed to the world. This unveiling also represents when
Moses saw the Lord face to face and would remove his veil. The 7th day is when we see God face to face.
The Scrolls are Opened
The last day of the Feast of Tabernacles is the only time of year on which the Torah scrolls are taken out of the Ark and read at night. When the ark is opened, all the worshippers leave their seats to dance and sing with all the Torah scrolls in a joyous celebration that often lasts for several hours and more. The ark being opened refers both to Noah's "Ark" as well as the Ark of the Covenant being opened on that day. An angel asks in Revelation 5:2, “Who is worthy to break the seals and open the scroll?” Jesus is worthy to open the scrolls taken out of the Ark on the last day of Tabernacles and begin the Tribulation, and Revelation 6, with the seals opening.
Because Hanukkah is a second Feast of Tabernacles, everything that would happen during the Feast of Tabernacles now also applies to the Feast of Hanukkah.
Haggai 2 and Hebrews 12
Haggai 2 and Hebrews 12: On the SEVENTH DAY of the Feast of Tabernacles, the Lord spoke these words to Haggai: “This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘In a little while I will once more shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land. I will shake all nations, and THE DESIRED OF ALL NATIONS WILL COME,
and I will fill this house with glory,’ says the Lord Almighty. ‘The
silver is mine and the gold is mine,’ declares the Lord Almighty. ‘The
glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former
house,’ says the Lord Almighty. ‘And in this place I will grant peace,’
declares the Lord Almighty.” Hebrews 12:18-29: You have not come to a mountain that can be touched and that is burning with fire; to darkness, gloom and storm; to a trumpet blast or to such a voice speaking words that those who heard it begged that no further word be spoken to them, because they could not bear what was commanded: “If even an animal touches the mountain, it must be stoned to death.” The sight was so terrifying that Moses said, “I am trembling with fear.” But you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly, to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God, the Judge of all, to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel. See to it that you do not refuse him who speaks. If they did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, how much less will we, if we turn away from him who warns us from heaven? At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, “Once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.” The words “once more” indicate the removing of what can be shaken—that is, created things—so that what cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our “God is a consuming fire.”
The Lord is pointing us to the LAST DAY of Tabernacles as the fulfillment of these verses as that was the day He spoke the words to Haggai, whose name actually means "Feasts of the Lord". Since that is the meaning of his name, we can see that the Lord is teaching us what the fulfillment of these Feasts will be through Haggai. The Lord chose to speak these words to Haggai on the LAST DAY of Tabernacles, which Haggai thought was significant and recorded for us exactly when these words were spoken to him by the Lord. The verses in Haggai point to the Lord shaking the heavens and the earth, that the desired of all the nations will come to this new tabernacle and the glory will be great. Paul expounds on these verses by adding the mention of a trumpet blast, the heavenly Jerusalem, joyful assembly (the last day of Tabernacles is the most joyous of assemblies of all the Feasts), he mentions the word escape, and the shaking of the heavens (the fallen angels/UFO deception at the time of the Rapture), and consuming fire.
Because Hanukkah is a second Feast of Tabernacles, everything that would happen during the Feast of Tabernacles now also applies to the Feast of Hanukkah.
Battle of Jericho and the Feast of Tabernacles
On
every one of the seven days of the Feast of Tabernacles, the priests
formed in procession, and made the circuit of the altar, singing: “Lord,
save us! Lord, grant us success!!” (Psalm 118:25). But on the seventh,
'that great day of the feast,' they made the circuit of the altar seven
times, remembering how the walls of Jericho had fallen in similar
circumstances, and anticipating how, by the direct interposition of God,
the walls of heathenism would fall before Jehovah, and the land lie
open for His people to go in and possess it.
God “miraculously SAVED only “one house” of people out of the Jericho before its destruction. This heralds the “rapturous event of the righteous” of Christ’s house. “Only Rahab the harlot shall live, she and ALL that are with her in her HOUSE” (Joshua 6:16).
Here, it is good to keep Leviticus 23:42-43 in mind. In other words: The Scriptures state that the seven days of the Feast of booths symbolized the forty desert years after the Exodus. But, it is easy to see that the end of that feast’s seventh and last day, the “great” one, obviously symbolized the time when the Israelites’ desert-sojourn came to its end – the time when they crossed over the river Jordan and entered the Promised Land.
So, the seven days of the Feast of Tabernacles in themselves pictured the desert years, but the end of the seventh and last day pictured the event in the days of Joshua when the Israelites finally entered the Promised Land. This was also echoed in the temple rituals. It was because of those rituals, and what they symbolized, that the seventh and last day came to be called “the great one of the feast”.
Did that “last great day” have a forward-looking symbolism of some kind? Literally, it pictured the event in the days of Joshua when the Israelites finally entered the Promised Land. But, let us not forget that in New Testament times, the saints are on our way to a better Land, the one of Hebrews 11:16 – “Instead, they were longing for a better country—a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has prepared a city for them.”
Because Hanukkah is a second Feast of Tabernacles, everything that would happen during the Feast of Tabernacles now also applies to the Feast of Hanukkah.
Noah and the Ark
We know that we can view Noah as a type or pattern because Jesus Himself has stated as much:“No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.” Matthew 24:36-41.
The Bible also likens the end-times to a flood:
Luke 17:26-27 “Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man. People were eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriage up to the day Noah entered the ark. THEN THE FLOOD CAME and destroyed them all.”
Matthew 24: 37-41 “As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.”
Daniel 9:26 “The end will come LIKE A FLOOD: War will continue until the end, and desolations have been decreed.”
Revelation 12:15-17 “And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away BY THE FLOOD. And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and SWALLOWED UP THE FLOOD which the dragon cast out of his mouth. And the dragon was angry with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.”
Genesis 7 - "In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, on the seventeenth day of the second month—on that day all the springs of the great deep burst forth, and the floodgates of the heavens were opened."
So, it is worth giving Noah and his Ark a closer look. "Whatever is has already been, and what will be has been before; and God will call the past to account." Ecclesiastes 3:15.
Seven Days in a Tabernacle
In
celebration of the Feast of Tabernacles, the Jews were directed to
build temporary shelters and to live in them for seven days. On the
eighth day, they were to hold a sacred assembly before the Lord. See
Leviticus 23:33-43. According to Nehemiah 8:14-15, the Israelites used
tree branches to build these tabernacles. The Ark was one big tabernacle – a temporary dwelling place made out of wood. And inside, Noah was told to make rooms in it.
"So make yourself an ark of cypress wood; make rooms in it and coat it with pitch inside and out." Genesis 6:14.
These rooms were for both people and animals. This is significant because the first mention of the word "sukkah" (i.e. tabernacles) is in reference to livestock shelters. "Jacob, however, went to Succoth, where he built a place for himself and made shelters for his livestock. That is why the place is called Succoth." Genesis 33:17. So, the Ark itself contained numerous shelters or tabernacles.
"The Lord then said to Noah, 'Go into the ark, you and your whole family, because I have found you righteous in this generation. Take with you seven of every kind of clean animal, male and its mate, and two of every kind of unclean animal, a male and its mate, and also seven of every kind of bird, male and female, to keep their various kinds alive throughout the earth. Seven days from now I will send rain on the earth for forty days and forty nights, and I will wipe from the face of the earth every living creature I have made.'" Genesis 7:1-4.
I believe that God was establishing a pattern – one that seems to resonate with the Feast of Tabernacles. On the 7th day, God sent the judgment and Noah and his family were saved.
Because Hanukkah is a second Feast of Tabernacles, everything that would happen during the Feast of Tabernacles now also applies to the Feast of Hanukkah.
The Ark, the Tabernacle and the New Jerusalem
There
is a similarity in the dimensions between Noah’s Ark and the
Tabernacle. Both are rectangles. The court of the Tabernacle was 100
cubits long, 50 cubits wide, and 5 cubits high. The Ark was 300 cubits
long, 50 cubits wide, and 30 cubits high.” Noah’s Ark is recognizably
boat shaped, each deck of which was the same height as the tabernacle
and three times the area of the tabernacle court. Consequently, Noah and his family entered a type of tabernacle when they sought safety in the Ark.Likewise, the dimensions of the New Jerusalem and the Holy of Holies (a room inside of the Tabernacle of the Wilderness) are perfect cubes. The New Jerusalem is 12,000 stadia in length, width, and height. See Revelation 21:16. And the Holy of Holies in the Temple was 20 cubits in length, width, and height. See 1 Kings 6:20
So, we will dwell in the New Jerusalem with God – in an eternal Holy of Holies, in the Tabernacle of God. Like the Ark, it will have rooms prepared for us. (In my Father’s house are many rooms.” John 14:1.)
"And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God." Revelation 21:3-3.
It is fitting then for us to enter into our heavenly tabernacle on the Feast of Tabernacles.
Because Hanukkah is a second Feast of Tabernacles, everything that would happen during the Feast of Tabernacles now also applies to the Feast of Hanukkah.
The Wedding and the Jewish Bridegroom/Bride
Before
Jesus left earth at his first advent, he gave his beloved disciples a
most precious promise. It was the promise of a Jewish bridegroom to a
bride: “If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and
receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also” (John
14:3).Jesus’ disciples knew the words because they were the traditional words of a man to his bride at the time of engagement, or betrothal. After those words, there was a time of great anticipation, and much work to accomplish. The bridegroom would “prepare a place” for his bride by building on to his father’s house a dwelling for the new couple, and plan for a seven-day wedding feast. Meanwhile, the bride planned for her move to a new home when her bridegroom would return, and prepared her special attire for the occasion.
The return of Christ to take his bride is referred to in the parable of the wise and foolish virgins. After a long engagement, up to a year or more, the day would come when the bridegroom would snatch away his bride in a romantic nighttime procession.
Perhaps Paul had this custom in mind when he wrote, “We which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them ... so shall we ever be with the Lord” (1 Thessalonians 4:17).
The virgins were close friends of the bride. They were to be ready when the bridegroom, at the direction of his father, would come to retrieve his bride and return for the marriage feast. This happened during the night, keenly anticipated, yet suddenly, at a time unknown. When awakened, these friends of the bride would trim their lamps and attend to the bride while proclaiming to the people that the groom had arrived to snatch away his bride and commence a week-long celebration.
The presence of the bridegroom was initially alarming, waking the town’s people with the sound of a shofar and loud voices, proclaiming “behold the bridegroom,” he has returned for his bride. A wedding processional would emerge starting with the close friends of the bride and bridegroom and eventually extend an invitation to the marriage feast to all the people. With torches in hand, the sound of a trumpet and shouts of excitement and joy, it was a festive night. In other ways it was quite disconcerting to those who were suddenly awakened and then tried to fall back to sleep in spite of the celebration going on in their streets. This sudden march of loud people in the middle of the night was the only method of invitation to the week-long event commencing in earnest the next morning.
Once the procession reached the bridegroom’s home, after an intimate midnight celebration with friends and servants, the happy couple entered the nuptial chamber to celebrate their union. The bride remained in their private room for seven days enjoying the exclusive company of her groom, still attended by her friends (the virgins). During this time, the groom, his family, friends and servants would attend to the guests. The bride would be revealed to waiting guests at the end of seven days. In some cases the identity of the veiled bride was unknown until the last day of the feast. The bride is revealed to the universe on the LAST DAY of the FEAST. Romans 8:19: The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed.
During the final wedding ceremony on the 7th day when the bridegroom would present his bride to his father and the veil was removed, the bride would walk around the groom 7 times, symbolizing the 7th day of Tabernacles, when the Jewish people would walk around the altar 7 times blowing trumpets as a reenactment of the 7th day of Unleavened Bread when the walls of Jericho fell. After the ceremony, the Wedding Supper would begin and the bridegroom would take his bride to the home he had prepared for her.
Because Hanukkah is a second Feast of Tabernacles, everything that would happen during the Feast of Tabernacles now also applies to the Feast of Hanukkah.
Psalm 27
"Come, my people, enter you into your chambers, and shut your doors about you: HIDE YOURSELF as it were for a little moment, UNTIL THE WRATH is over. For, behold, the LORD comes out of his place TO PUNISH THE INHABITANTS OF THE EARTH FOR THEIR INIQUITY: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain" (Isaiah 26:20, 21).Psalm 27:5 tells us WHERE He hides us:
"For IN THE TIME OF TROUBLE HE SHALL HIDE ME IN HIS TABERNACLE (besukkoh): IN THE SECRET PLACE of his tabernacle SHALL HE HIDE ME; he shall set me up UPON A ROCK". When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will TAKE ME UP then shall the Lord GATHER and REMOVE me" (Psalm 27:10).
Psalm 27 is read on the last day of Sukkot.
Because Hanukkah is a second Feast of Tabernacles, everything that would happen during the Feast of Tabernacles now also applies to the Feast of Hanukkah.
BLOW THE TRUMPET IN ZION
"Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify A FAST, call A SOLEMN assembly (clearly, Yom Kippur): GATHER the people, sanctify (SET APART) the congregation (kahal, Church), assemble the elders, GATHER the children, and those that suck the breasts:
LET THE Bridegroom GO FORTH FROM HIS CHAMBER, AND THE Bride OUT OF HER CLOSET" (LAST day of Sukkot, known as Hoshanah Rabbah) (Joel 2:15, 16).
The word used here for "gather" in Hebrew is asaph. It's the VERY SAME WORD used in Exodus 23:16; 34:22 to refer to Sukkot as "the Feast of INGATHERING", ha asiph.
Joel BEGINS with an unmistakable reference to Yom Kippur, followed by a reference to Sukkot (the Feast of ha asif, THE GATHERING), followed by a reference to the final 7th day of Sukkot, when the Bridegroom and Bride emerge from the wedding chamber.
The Bridegroom and Bride are unequivocal references to Christ and His Church (Matthew 25:1-12).
The Feast of Sukkot lasts 7 days which is PRECISELY the number of days that biblical weddings were celebrated (Genesis 29:27; Judges 14:10-12).
Because Hanukkah is a second Feast of Tabernacles, everything that would happen during the Feast of Tabernacles now also applies to the Feast of Hanukkah.
ARK BROUGHT TO THE TEMPLE
Sukkot is the day when the Ark was brought into Solomon's Temple and when God's Glory (Shekinah) MANIFESTED IN its Holy of Holies (2 Chronicles 5:14 7:8-18)."The priests then withdrew from the Holy Place. All the priests who were there had consecrated themselves, regardless of their divisions. All the Levites who were musicians—Asaph, Heman, Jeduthun and their sons and relatives—stood on the east side of the altar, dressed in fine linen and playing cymbals, harps and lyres. They were accompanied by 120 priests sounding trumpets. The trumpeters and musicians joined in unison to give praise and thanks to the Lord. Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals and other instruments, the singers raised their voices in praise to the Lord and sang:“He is good; His love endures forever.” Then the temple of the Lord was filled with the cloud, and the priests could not perform their service because of the cloud, for the glory of the Lord filled the temple of God." 2 Chronicles 5:11-14
Presently, there's NO TEMPLE in Jerusalem. Born-again believers ARE God's Temple (1 Corinthians 3:17; 6:19; 2 Corinthians 6:16).
If God's Glory manifested in a temple made of stones on Sukkot, SHOULD IT NOT MANIFEST in His Temple made of LIVING STONES ON THAT DAY making us glorious and immortal? (1 Peter 2:5).
God's Word PROMISES that the Glory of the latter House (or temple, His Church) SHALL BE GREATER THAN THE FORMER (Haggai 2:9). He made this promise to Haggai on the 7th day of the Feast of Tabernacles.
Because Hanukkah is a second Feast of Tabernacles, everything that would happen during the Feast of Tabernacles now also applies to the Feast of Hanukkah.
Jesus goes to the Feast of Tabernacles
When
the Feast of Tabernacles drew close, Jesus' brothers suggested that He
do miracles in Judea (John 7: 2-5). "Go where more people can see your
miracles" they scoffed. If you're so great, prove it to the world!" For
even his brothers didn't believe him. His brothers are symbolically like
the Jews of modern time who do not believe that Jesus is the Messiah.
Jesus told his brothers that His time had not yet come, and He told them to go up to the feast by themselves. Jesus then waited to go up to the Feast of Tabernacles in Jerusalem. In the middle of the feast, Jesus went up to Jerusalem "not openly, but as it were in secret" (John 7:9). Why did He wait and tell his brothers that the time wasn't right for Him to come at the beginning of the Feast of Tabernacles? Since there is an 8th day to this Feast, halfway into the Feast would be the end of the 4th day. Here we have future “typology” of Jesus secretly coming at the end of the 4th day (4th year of the final 7 years) during the Feast of Tabernacles (again, please remember that Hanukkah is the second Tabernacles feast and was originally celebrated exactly as the Feast of Tabernacles was celebrated).
John 7:37-38 On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.”
When Jesus finally did go to the Feast of Tabernacles, He waited until the last and greatest day and tells us to COME TO HIM on that day. "The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely." (Revelation 22:17).
Again in Revelation 22, we see the Spirit telling us to COME and drink from the water of life, a clear reference to what Jesus spoke on the last day of the Feast of Tabernacles. Revelation 7: 17: For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; He will lead them to springs of living water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.’”
Pool of Siloam
In Jesus’ day, the last day of the Feast of Tabernacles began at the Pool of Siloam, with a joyful musical procession called Simhat Beit HaShoevah or The Rejoicing of the Water-Drawing. During the ceremony, a designated priest, surrounded by jubilant worshippers, would draw water from the Pool of Siloam and carry it in a golden pitcher up the hill to the Temple altar. A blast of trumpets would announce his arrival. The high priest would then pour the Siloam water into one silver basin while wine was poured into another. To the accompaniment of flutes, the priests would sing “Hallelujah” (the Hallel). The celebration was based upon Isaiah 12: 3, “With joy ye shall draw water out of the wells of salvation.”
Remember, it is during the Feast of Tabernacles that Jesus, in the Temple courtyard, spoke of the promise of living water. Jesus may have pointed to the golden pitcher as he cried out, “If any man is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink." (John 7: 37)
This is the same pool where a man who was blind from birth was told by Jesus to go wash in. “Go, wash in the Pool of Siloam,” Jesus said. The man did as he was told, and he was able to see.
We have all been blind from birth, unable to see our precious Lord and Savior with our eyes. But on that day, He shall open our blind eyes and we shall see Him as He is. 1 John 3:2 "Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when He appears, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is."
Because Hanukkah is a second Feast of Tabernacles, everything that would happen during the Feast of Tabernacles now also applies to the Feast of Hanukkah.
Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!
Jesus said: "For I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, 'Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.'"Hashanna Rabba - The Great Hosanna
On the last day of the feast (21st Tishrei), the day of the Great Hosanna was celebrated. It was the climax of the day that was the climax of the whole season of feasts/holy days (Hosanna translates as "Save Now"). The people prayed especially for GOD'S salvation through Meshiach / MESSIAH - (the anointed one).
A joyous crowd assembled, carrying palm branches a couple of meters in length. It was said to resemble a forest in motion if seen from a rooftop. There was silence in the crowd as the priest said the Hallel (praise) Psalm 118, to which the people responded at every line with Hallelujah. The people processed seven times around the altar.
As they got to verses 25-29, they joined in with the words "Hosanna, make thy salvation now manifest, o Lord" and "O Lord send now prosperity" and they would wave their palm branches. As they reached the words "Baruch haba bashem Adonai" "Blessed is he who comes in the name of the LORD", the godly would greet the coming Messiah in their hearts, knowing it applied to Him.
The joy of this celebration became proverbial. "He that has not seen Simchat bet ha Sho'ebhah has not seen joy in this life". It was on this "last great day of the feast", the day of messianic expectation, that Jesus said, "If anyone is thirsty let him come to me and drink" (John 7:37). He offered living water to anyone who would believe and accept him. He was saying "Look to me and be saved - I AM the great Hosanna". I believe that what Jesus was trying to tell us is that the next time He comes (at the Rapture), when WE SEE HIM FACE TO FACE, the next time we will get to SEE HIM will be when the people say, "Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord." The only time the Jewish people recite this verse from Psalm 118 is on the last day of Tabernacles! He is also telling the Jewish people that they will not see him again until they say, “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.” I believe that they will do this on the first day of Hanukkah in 2016 at the Second Coming of Christ to the earth, just as Judas Maccabeus rode into Jerusalem on the first day of Hanukkah after hiding in the mountains for 3 years and the people waved palm branches in a very similar manner to Christ’s first Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem.
Nuclear War and the Feast of Tabernacles
Fire offerings were presented to the Lord on everyday of the Feast of Tabernacles. Zechariah prophesied about a “fire offering” and described it as a nuclear missile in the book of Zechariah 5:1-9: I, Zechariah, looked up and saw a flying scroll in the sky. And the angel that was showing me these things said, "What do you see?" I answered, "I see a flying scroll; 34.3 feet long, and 5.5 feet in diameter."
Then he said, "This is the curse that will afflict the entire land of
Israel. Every one that steals and every one that swears falsely by my name
will be destroyed by it. And I will bring it forth, says YHWH
T'zavaot. This flying scroll that you see, will completely consume the
timbers and stones of the house of the thief, and he that swears falsely
by my name.“ Then the angel said, "Look up and see what this flying scroll is." And I responded, "What is it?" And he said,"This is a container that flies." He said, "Furthermore, this is their appearance throughout the whole earth." Then I saw a mass of lead and a fire offering, as it was lifted up and secured in the container. And he said, "The fire that you see being put in the container, is an evil fire offering." Then he secured the fire offering in the container and put the lead mass in the opening. Then I looked up and saw as two fires came out of the container, and the fires caused the wind to lift the container by its 'stork like' wings, from the earth into the sky.
Because Hanukkah is a second Feast of Tabernacles, everything that would happen during the Feast of Tabernacles now also applies to the Feast of Hanukkah.
Pattern from the Transfiguration
The
Transfiguration is discussed in three out of the four Gospels: Matthew
17:1-13; Mark 9:2-3; Luke 9:28-36. The accounts are all similar: Jesus,
Peter, James and John go up a high mountain where Jesus is transfigured
before them. Suddenly, Moses and Elijah appear in “glorious splendor.”
(Luke 9:31.) A cloud envelopes all of them and they hear the voice of
God. Peter says something that may connect the Transfiguration to the
Feast of Tabernacles; he asks if they should build 3 tabernacles. Peter
said to Jesus, "Lord, it is good for us to be here; if You wish, I will make three tabernacles here, one for You, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah." Matthew 17:4. This statement may also give us insight into the timing of the Rapture, because there seems to be a parallel between the Transfiguration and the Rapture passage in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17: “For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.”
At the Transfiguration, Moses represents the dead in Christ because he experienced death. Elijah represents those who are alive at the time of the Rapture because he never experienced death. They, the dead and the alive, join Jesus and are transformed. Also, Old Testament saints and New Testament saints are together during this event as represented by Moses, Elijah, and the three disciples.
Although they are not in the air, they are on a “high mountain.” (Matthew 17:1.) A cloud envelopes them and they are with the Lord in the clouds. Lastly, the voice of God is heard, and we know from other scripture that the voice of God is like the sound of a trumpet. (See Revelation 1:10 and 4:1.)
The Transfiguration appears to be a rehearsal for the Rapture. It is also an indicator for its timing. "And AFTER SIX DAYS Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, and brought them up into a high mountain apart." Why POINT OUT in all three Gospels that this happened "AFTER SIX DAYS"? What comes during the Feast of Tabernacles AFTER 6 DAYS? (ON THE 7TH DAY)??? Hoshanah Rabbah (meaning THE GREAT SALVATION).
The Transfiguration is also showing the timing of the start of the two witnesses. Revelation 11:6: "They have power to shut up the heavens so that it will not rain during the time they are prophesying; and they have power to turn the waters into blood and to strike the earth with every kind of plague as often as they want.” Who was the one person in the Old Testament that shut up the heavens so that it did not rain? Who was the one who turned water into blood? This is a reference to Elijah and Moses, the 2 that came down on the mountain to meet with Jesus and then Peter says that He will make 3 tabernacles for them. The Tribulation Saints (Messianic Jews and Gentile Christians) will have the anointing of Elijah and Moses during the Great Tribulation and go forth to do many great signs and wonders. Once again, the Scripture is pointing us to the Feast of Hanukkah (the second Feast of Tabernacles) as the Rapture and also the starting of the ministry of the 2 witnesses of Revelation. It is the beginning of the ministry of the 2 witnesses (left behind Christians – both Messianic Jews and Gentile believers) and also when the woman is given wings of an eagle to fly to a place prepared for her.
Matthew 17:1-8 – “Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves; and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light. And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him. Then Peter answered and said to Jesus, ‘Lord, it is good for us to be here; if You wish, let us make here three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.’ While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and suddenly a voice came out of the cloud, saying, ‘This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!’ And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their faces and were greatly afraid. But Jesus came and touched them and said, ‘Arise, and do not be afraid.’ When they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no one but Jesus only.” Just as Moses and Elijah disappeared from sight on the “7th day” right after Peter asks if they can build “tabernacles” for them, so also the Raptured Bride may disappear on the 7th day of Hanukkah (the second Feast of Tabernacles). Because Hanukkah is a second Feast of Tabernacles, everything that would happen during the Feast of Tabernacles now also applies to the Feast of Hanukkah.
The End of the Great Tribulation…
Revelation 7:9-17 "After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. And they cried out in a loud voice: “Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.” All
the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and
the four living creatures. They fell down on their faces before the
throne and worshiped God, saying: “Amen! Praise and glory and
wisdom and thanks and honor and power and strength be to our God for
ever and ever. Amen!” Then one of the elders asked me, “These in white
robes—who are they, and where did they come from?” I answered, “Sir, you know.” And he said, "These are those who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.” Therefore, “they are before the throne of God and serve Him day and night in his temple; and He who sits on the throne will shelter them with his
presence. ‘Never again will they hunger; never again will they thirst.
The sun will not beat down on them,’ nor any scorching heat. For the
Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; He will lead
them to springs of living water. ‘And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.’” They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. On the "last and greatest day" of the Feast, the people gathered at the Temple, bearing palm branches in their right hand and citron fruit [for their sweet fragrance] in their left hand. As the water and wine was poured out, the priests sang the Hallel psalms, remembering God's mercies and praising Him for His greatness. As the singing drew to a close, the people vigorously shook their palm branches [representing the Lord SHAKING the heavens on the earth on this day] toward the altar, with the intent of reminding God of His promises.
And they cried out in a loud voice: “Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.” This last day of the Feast of Tabernacles was called the “Day of the Great Hosanana” meaning “save us now”!
“They are before the throne of God and serve Him day and night in his temple; and He who sits on the throne will shelter them with His presence.” The Greek word here for shelter is “skenoo” and means to fix one's tabernacle, have one's tabernacle, abide (or live) in a tabernacle (or tent), to tabernacle with.
“Never again will they hunger; never again will they thirst.” Jesus told all who were thirsty to COME TO HIM on the last day of Tabernacles. The sun will not beat down on them,’ nor any scorching heat.” They escape the Great Tribulation where the sun is scorching those left behind. Revelation 16:8-9 says, “The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and the sun was given power to scorch people with fire. They were seared by the intense heat and they cursed the name of God, who had control over these plagues, but they refused to repent and glorify him.”
He will lead them to springs of living water. On the last day, that great day of the Feast of Tabernacles, Jesus stood and cried, saying, “Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.”
The 7th day of Tabernacles was to be the end of the Great Tribulation but it has been postponed until the 7th day of Hanukkah because of the people being defiled. Once the people are no longer defiled, they will again celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles at the right time during the New Millennium (see Zechariah 14).
Bride of Christ protected for 1260 days
The woman was given the two wings of a great eagle, so that she might fly to the place prepared for her in the wilderness, where she would be taken care of for 1260 days, out of the serpent’s reach. Revelation 12:14 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. (John 14:3)
“But those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint” (Isaiah 40:31).
"Ye have seen What I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on Eagle's Wings, and brought you unto myself." Exodus 19:4 The Lord brought Israel out of Egypt to the desert on eagle's wings.
The woman in Revelation 12 is the one who birthed Christ (figuratively). This is pointing us to the “virgin” Mary, who gave birth to Jesus. It is showing that this woman is a “virgin”, just as the parable in Matthew 25 teaches about the 10 “virgins” and just as Revelation 14 teaches us that those redeemed from the earth and offered as firstfruits are also spiritual “virgins”. The woman represents those who have trusted in Christ for salvation through faith in the promised Messiah - those who belong to the NEW COVENANT. Galatians 4: "For it is written that Abraham had two sons, one by the slave woman and the other by the free woman. His son by the slave woman was born according to the flesh, but his son by the free woman was born as the result of a divine promise. These things are being taken figuratively: The women represent two covenants. One covenant is from Mount Sinai and bears children who are to be slaves: This is Hagar. Now Hagar stands for Mount Sinai in Arabia and corresponds to the present city of Jerusalem, because she is in slavery with her children. But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother...brothers and sisters, we are not children of the slave woman, but of the free woman."
“Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man. People were eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriage up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all. It was the same in the days of Lot. People were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building. But the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all. It will be just like this on the day the Son of Man is revealed. On that day no one who is on the housetop, with possessions inside, should go down to get them. Likewise, no one in the field should go back for anything. Remember Lot’s wife! Whoever tries to keep their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life will preserve it. That night two people will be asleep in one bed; one will be taken, the other left. Two will be grinding flour together at the mill; one will be taken, the other left. Two shall be in a field; one shall be taken and the other shall be left. And they answered and they were saying to him, “To where, Our Lord?” He said to them, “Wherever the heavenly stars are, there the eagles shall be gathered.” Luke 17:26-33
The Bride of Christ is given the wings of an eagle to fly to a place prepared for her in the desert for 1260 days. These 1260 days should have started on the 7th day of Passover in 2013 (May 2, 2013), but there is a delay and the days are shortened in order that some flesh might survive. There will only be 3 years of Tribulation, as foreshadowed by the 9th plague or Egypt, the 3 days of darkness.
The Fall of Jerusalem
“Do
you see all these things?” he asked. “Truly I tell you, not one stone
here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down” Matthew
24:2. Jesus is relating the destruction of the second temple and fall of
Jerusalem to the end time events. Jesus answered them, “Destroy this
temple, and I will raise it again in three days." John 2:19Luke 21: They will fall by the sword and will be taken as prisoners to all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.... Revelation 11: I was given a reed like a measuring rod and was told, “Go and measure the temple of God and the altar, with its worshipers. But exclude the outer court; do not measure it, because it has been given to the Gentiles. They will trample on the holy city for 42 months. And I will appoint my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth.”
This is the same 1260 days the Bride is protected by God in the "wilderness", a picture of God's people leaving Egypt (the world). "The woman was given the two wings of a great eagle, so that she might fly to the place prepared for her in the desert, where she would be taken care of for a time, times and half a time, out of the serpent's reach" Revelation 12:14. "The woman fled into the desert to a place prepared for her by God, where she might be taken care of for 1,260 days" Revelation 12:6. "And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am." John 14:3
“So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation,’ spoken of through the prophet Daniel—let the reader understand — then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. Let no one on the housetop go down to take anything out of the house. Let no one in the field go back to get their cloak. How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! Pray that your flight will not take place in winter or on the Sabbath. For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now—and never to be equaled again."It would seem that at the same time that the Rapture occurs and the Great Tribulation begins, Jerusalem is "trampled on by the Gentiles." Since Revelation 21 likens the Bride of Christ to the New Jerusalem, the wife of the Lamb, it is also possible that this is speaking of Christians who are alive during the Great Tribulation, as a representation of Jerusalem, being trampled on for 1260 days and needing to get out of the cities to flee to the mountains for 3 years, just as the Jewish people did during the time of Judas Maccabees, when the evil Antiochus IV was attacking Israel.
Study to show yourselves approved
I hope you have enjoyed this study. Paul told Timothy to study to show himself approved.
The Bereans searched out the Scriptures day after day to see if these
things were true. What I present in this study is not for the simple
minded, who are not deeply pursuing the ways of God. Please study this
information from my website and pass it along to others so that they too
may have the opportunity to study it to see if these things are true.
God Bless you all and I hope to see you soon on the other side!
