Addicted to Saving

I just deposited $90 into my bank account. That makes it a total of $100 I've collected so far. I'm very pleased, but I won't ever be satisfied. Satisfied means "okay, I'm done" and as far as I'm concerned, I'll never want to be done with collecting cash, even AFTER I've reached my goal. I've noticed something too, once I've started the ball rolling on collecting change, it hasn't stopped. For example, Right after I deposited my $90 into my bank account, I was worried that it would be hard for me to collect the next $10. Well, I was wrong. After stopping at the bank, I made a stop at my parents' house to drop some stuff off. My brother gave me $10 for when he had borrowed the car last week. That $10 is going straight into the bank account tomorrow when I cash my paycheck. I have a feeling if I had never started this thousand dollar challenge, that the money I have collected would've gone towards stuff I don't need, but now that I'm saving, it's like a drug. I find ways to cut bills here and there. I think everyone should try saving a little money here and there like I have. Now you don't necessarily have to have a goal of $1,100, but just try to find ways to scrape together a few bucks here and there. Once you start, you'll never look at things the same way again!
